OddFox here, with a new weapon idea that you might be interested in.
The weapon is called an "airfoil". Quite simply, it is a sword hilt and a diamond tip. Nothing in-between. Remarkably, it is not the result of magic, but of science. (actually, I got the idea from Wil McCarthy. Look him up).

I see. My username, OddFox comes from a role-play character I invented. He resembles an anthro fox, but with color changing fur, bionic arms, and superstrength. He is a formidable opponent, with programmable matter panels hidden in his arms, and the ability to materialize any weapon he can think of. Neat huh?

I hope you don't mind, but I have another question for you. This time, it relates to chess, your favorite non-electronic game.
Why is it that whenever I manage to kill off all of my opponants pieces, the game ends in a stalemate? That's ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, I like chess, but I HATE that rule!

It depends on what pieces you have left can determine whether you can still checkmate or stalemate once they only have the king left. If you have like say only one bishop and a king or only one knight and a king, then it is a stalemate because checkmate is impossible. If only the two kings are left on the board then it is also stalemate because you can't check someone with your own king. The rule extends out into different situations and any professional beginner chess book can explain this rule to you more in depth.

Okay! I'm done. I don't think that took insanely long, though longer than usual, since my sisters both suddenly decided to talk to/bother/distract me, and they basically succeeded.
I liked this chapter! Perhaps not quite as much as I enjoyed reading chapter ten, but it was still a very good chapter. I especially liked the cliffhanger ending. Very interesting. I'm wondering. Can't wait for the next!
