dang! thats suxs... it would be cool to listen some of your work & cool! talent shows... what exactly you do at open mic?

creating lyrics!... yeah thats a pain to create unless you have motivation to go with it. I can write lyrics in matter of minutes then I'll hate it after a while cuz I usually think its not good enough. the last time I wrote a lyric was probably at my graduation month in 2008. wrote a song for a friend...

I sometimes do lyrics as I go whenever I listen to my music, no matter what it is. I even try to sing songs with other songs to match the tempos and create mash-ups with them. My first mash-up I attempted at an Open Mic and want to do again and post it on YouTube is Michael Jackson's "They Don't Care About Us" with 3 Doors Down's "Citizen Soldiers". I sang MJ as 3 Doors Down was playing from my MP3 connected to a stereo set-up. It was sweet and everybody was like "Whoa!" and all those surprising cheers. :D (Big Grin)

I'm actually doing that, Reviving some of the old songs when I was in the band. I still have the lyrics but they're somewhere in my mothers attics. So? I'm going to find them & remake the song since... they're old & bad grammar & stuff.

oh also! I do daily vlogs, so you can check me out everyday. well my internet was down since friday & now I'm uploading the videos that I haven't upload from friday to now.

You're in a band? wow thats awesome, I would like to hear some of your song, you don't have songs that you have online?

I used to be in a band but I quit (well more like I was the only one who remained & just let it go) in 2006, since my old band members quit due to moving & just don't want to do it anymore. I was in a band since 2003 - 2006. I was in 3 bands "The one will be on top", "Far From Ashland", & "Less Star Great"... BUT I still continue to make music but for instrumental & random songs

I'm actually in the same boat, dude. I was once in a band, but it ended in 2009 with one of our bandmates being stupid. All our music was pretty much sabotaged and all that bad stuff thanks to her and we couldn't redo them because they were songs from when we were younger (as in like back in 2006), but I wouldn't wanna get into all the details though...REALLY long story...but I have been doing some things on my own: singing, beatboxing, MJ dancing at Open Mic nights or Talent shows at my old job in Waltham. Most of the time I've been trying to make lyrics for the video game music I have either recorded or heard. Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Trying to do something to entertain myself, y'know?
