I've just checked your gallery, it's nice to see a good continious progress in your drawings. Each time it gets better, I think you are in that fase that you start to refine your skills and that you take harder tasks on your own. Realy love the whole idea to put your daughter on one large paper in different positions and at a different age. Seems that will be an amazing work .

Thank you very much. I think I'm getting slightly better, but still far far far far away to be half decent.
I'm glad you like my A1 idea, I think it's great. It looks soo good on the wall in our living room.
Few people didn't want to believe it that I draw that, they sad it's done on a computer which makes it even more rewarding.

Thanks for the fav and the watch 2.

I get the same things, when my father saw the drawing of Valentino Rossi finished, he asked me if we could show it to some people in a local pub, he said there were a lot of motorbike lovers out there. Once we got there, there was just one guy that loved motorbikes, he admired my work. All the rest was asking you drew this? And they realy got that paranoia look and then they asked how long I've been working on that drawing is said 1 year and a half for 220 hours. They didn't got it, they didn't believed it I guess. Anyway this drawing is going to leave me soon. Kind of hard after such a long time.

I must be honest 1 year and a half it is a long time. I've done mine for about 2 months and I thought that was a bit slow even though I only worked on it couple of hours every day or some days none at all. When I started The first 2 nights I done about 6 hours on each night but next day I was like a lemon at work so I said to myself that I can't work any later than midnight on my drawing and that way took me a lot of time.

What are you doing with the drawing?
Have you sold it?
I bet it's not easy to let it go.

VelvetVamp In reply to SSDrawings [2012-01-30 06:48:42 +0000 UTC]

Well the costumer will come soon after his work. It's still in my living room so that I can look and enjoy it a bit more. I do hope he's coming soon, the longer it is here, the harder it will be. It will feel strange for a couple of days after I guess, like I'm missing something. I didn't draw on the drawing for months either, because then we wanted to paint our living room or we had to go to that party or to that celebration.

Then I quit my job on the end of octobre, because they were cutting my hours, so I just set myself to unemployed, contacted the interim that I didn't want to go back for just another 8 hours in a week (I do have to get enough money to live). The other day I get a call they were looking for someone, said I would want to have a conversation, I went, got my jobinterview the day after and I could start the other day after that, so 3 days later I found a new job already but that one was fulltime, so it was hard to adapt myself to that, cause that meant 8 hours less free time.

So I could say it was maybe more like a 1 year and 2 months. But even in the months that I wasn't drawing, I still was looking at it, compared things. Put the photo next to the drawing and planning wich parts I was going to do next or what needed to be adapted. Or it was a session of 15 minits. So I was constantly busy with it and sometimes even mad when I couldn't start further with it.
