Do you have any easier drawing tutorial books?

My alternate choice for drawing would be Keys to Drawing by Bert Dodson.

The major forum I refer to for art books is on Concept Art here: [link]

Woot! A fellow theater techie! I'm still in college myself for theater tech, but I had the idea the other day to see if I could submit some of my lighting designs and other such stuff, and there's actually sections for it! By the way, I like your lighting designs alot. Gobos = love

Welcome to the theatre corner of dA!
I'd love to see you post lighting pics.
I LOVE gobos, fresnels and PAR washes in my designs plus intelligent lighting when available.

I would kill to be able to work with intelligent lights. My college theater doesn't have them, nor the funds to get some. Alot of our instruments are really old. But hey, they still work, most of the time xD

It;s one of my favorites... and then the chorus came thundering down the staircases in the middle of the effect to be in places for the finale.

Is there anything you need help with?

SabellaFox In reply to Aeonna [2009-01-23 05:38:28 +0000 UTC]
Hello, Aeonna!
As a new member to DevinatArt I am still learning my way around the pages and directories.
My day job does not allow much time for me to set up my profile and avatar, but does allow me to view artwork of my favorite web astists, like yourself.
I want to say how much I've enjoyed reading CornerAlley13. What a treasure to find a story that is humorous, dramatic and characters that are far more human then their better-than-equal counterparts.
I look forward to CA13's current storyline and any of your future projects.
Best Wishes -
Sabella

I'm very glad to hear you like it!
I do have some new projects that I am planning, but I will definitely finish the current CA13 storyline before I start working properly on them.
