we (together, as i did want to do it as a surprise, but feared a catastrophic accident, resulting in my death at the hands of my love) are getting the goddamn darkroom back up and running...
i will not live a lie. i will not live with the most beautiful, inspired and inspiring photographer on this world, on any other inhabited worlds or unincorporated moons and allow her photographs to go undeveloped and un-viewed. it's a sin of the worst variety, of the worst kind (and i've experienced enough to know) to keep all that wonderfully composed beauty that you saw through your viewfinder to yourself; having tucked it away in some quiet little corner of your mind, tucked away and saved in your "snap-back" (geddit? 
for shame woman, for shame. i know you haven't the time nor the energy, but with our powers combined...
i want to go back on that trip together, before i got sick...
and now i'm crying...

My love. We are on that trip together every day. Our entire life together is one long stolen moment. There are no awkward silences, there are no embarassing things, there is love and honesty and safety and support. That you wanted to come with me on that trip was amazing, and we didn't want to come home. So we didn't. We made our own home. There is no one like you, no one has ever cared for me, loved me, held me in such high esteem...treasured me as you do.

On the ID pic, the skit was "Decomposing Composers", lyrics by Michael Palin I believe, though some of the lines may have appeared in earlier works by poets from a previous century since the entire Monty Python album was plagued by lawsuits launched by those claiming the use of the conjunction, "and", in their works thereby qualified them for compensation under various copyright violations.
