Why is your comment section suddenly so full of win? Oh haha that's right, because I'm here telling/spoiling the story of the sequel to the Avatar TV series for you! And I will begin by telling you that the main character is, infact, a girl. (If you knew this already, then I absolutely abhor your existence!

I could give a hoot about Kataang. I'm just happy that there's more Avatar related goodness. I'm really interested in the steam-punk thing integrated into the Avatar world. I wonder how different the technology is going to be from the original series. Anyway, it it's got Avatar+steam punk, I'm totally in.

But man, I'm going to miss the original characters. And it's depressing that this series is set when Toph, Zuko, Sokka and people are all dead.

Same here. They better develop her better than they did with Toph. As much as I love Toph, in the original series, they didn't give her enough screen time. I'll miss the original characters too. I hope the new characters have just as much charm. ORIGINAL charm. I don't need no clones.
I'm glad that Korra is older than Aang was. Hopefully, there'll still be some awesome one liners and comedy. But I like the idea of more mature concepts (darkness, darkness, darkness! I'm cheering for it)

Yeah, I felt that too much screen time was given to characters that didn't even need more development. I mean, we know how Aang, Katara, and Zuko are. I really wish they'd focus less on the "shipping" or lack thereof because individual characters need more love.
As for mature themes....maybe something darker that involves something moraly (is that even a word?) ambiguous that screws up one of the characters and junk. Bleh, we'll just see. Hahaha, I'm hoping for someone to be tied to a tree too. I hope it's a guy this time.

Well, as long as it keeps up with the banter standards of the 1st generation, I'll be happy.
I know what you mean, Katara's screen-time, especially, pissed me off. I think they could have gotten into a lot more depth developing secondary characters personalities, rather than repeating the broken record of Aang's problems and past issues.
Hmm... I hope they have some good villains/anti-heroes in the new series. It's going to be hard to beat the standards set by Ozai's Angels and Zuko... :/
