I just started my second quarter at SCAD
It's actually been a really rough and not fun start but I have really great classes this quarter!
Life Drawing, 3D Forms in Space, and Art History, Renaissance to Modern!!

I feel you, it's so expensive!
Apply for any and all scholarships they offer and when they give you money, ask for more! It worked for several of my friends. All they did was pursue the money and they got it.
I don't know anyone who got in on a full ride, but I got one called a Distinguished Scholar award that's $20,000 a year. It's the biggest singular SCAD scholarship I've heard of and a form has to be submitted
by a..teacher or some person in your community, I suppose. My design and drawing teacher worked together to submit mine and I got it!

I guess it's like with any college. Rake in outside scholarships because SCAD won't stack them (I got $17,000 in standard scholarships but the Distinguished Scholar replaced it all so I only got $20,000 not $37,000 ;o; )

Hngg your colleges are so pricey over there it's really not fair for you guys! *A* But WOW congratulations on the scholarship though! I actually attended their online finaid session recently and w/e I think I'll give it a shot who knows! and yizz it will be reallly cool if I studied there! Looks like a really great place to study!

It's ridiculously priced, that's for sure...I guess you're paying for the name as much as anything.
A couple other art schools in the country I've heard of/considered were at least $10,000/year more expensive, even!

today was my last day at work for the summer, in two days I go off to SCAD!

I kinda wanna be active here again but nobody would rly look at my art anymore and i feel like i'll be really busy with art school lol ty for thinkin of me though!
