Hi guys! I love dogs and decided to finally sculpt them again :) I have been sculpting doggies a lot as a child but then I took a long break as I became interested in other activities. But recently I started making sculptures again, yay! This page is dedicated to my rediscovered passion and hope you like it :)

thanks, i used regular sculpey for when i made clay sculptures and they are super fragile.

It's seems quite obvious to me you rarely or don't respond to many comments, but I do enjoy your style and was wondering if you've ever tried to make a Japanese Chin? It's a dog I rarely see any art of and I thought why not see if you've done it

I respond to as many comments as I can, and I don't know where you've made that observation. I have not made a Japanese Chin, there are just too many sculptures that I want to make. I might make one in the future, thanks for the suggestion

Your sculptures are very cute! I would suggest blending some of the connecting areas more. You're off to a great start, the more you sculpt the better you'll get 😊

So I have to ask cause I've struggled with mulit colored dogs, do you paint on the colors or do you use colored clay? If you use colored clay, how do you get it to lay flush with the other colors? My past attempts have been less than satisfying.

I paint the whole sculpture the color that there's the most off and then I paint all the other colors on top.
