LOL, yeah... but it's all good...

Yup, the first anime I really got into... and yes. You assume correct...

Though, both of those characters suit my own personality is somewhere between the two...
(yes I like using "..." a lot- lol)

I have been a member on here for 11 years... doesn't seem like it though lol.
I like more than those two characters, but not as much...
I love the humour of that series. Since then, my anime list has grown, but
I am not going to change my id for anything, even if it was free... I like it still.
Always looking for more anime... newer anime just doesn't seem as good, 
with of course, a few in exception. But the last... two years it seems to be less 
and less... The first anime I saw was Sailor Moon... (saw the new one and
didn't get past the 7th episode... love the old one too much)
I also from Inuyasha like Rin, A-Un, Sango, Kilala, Kagura, Sesshoumaru's mother - lol, Inuyasha...
sometimes Shippo, as well as Jaken got on my nerves, Jaken even more so- lol
The thing loved best was the first time I was watching it, I would think something about what
was going on in the episode and Inuyasha just went ahead and said it...

I can pretty much understand that feeling!  Sometimes we don't know why an anime seems to be so unique for us and like they are not done in that way anymore...
(Don't worry about the extended dottos, ..... I also use them a lot when writing and I'm "Trying" to correct that, hahaha)


As for me, I remember I saw Inuyasha when I was kid in a channel for animes, buzz I think it was?  Can't remember well... So in theory it was the first anime I watched even before I knew what it was.  Then later on I finished it when having around 16y-ish...   And I don't remember if it was with 20-21ysh that I watched the hanketsu-hen that related the latest episodes.

Jaken also got me off my nerves! Extremely annoying!   But I can't get angry and cute Chippo, hahahaha.  Oh my,  I hope we get to see some day animes similar to classics like these.  (I also like the fact that the boy is the tsundere in this case, meaning Inuyasha himself. )

Yeah, like after I saw Inuyasha (which for the first 6 seasons I saw on dvds rented from netflix... it would have been so awesome if there were streaming sites back then... lol) I looked into the artist/writer and rented other anime that her other series came into my life, though (Maison Ikkoku) it's a little corny, it is tooo funny to watch more than 3 episodes at a time... need rest from laughing so much- If you haven't seen it, I suggest it, it's an oldie, but goodie- back before answering machines... lol, which plays a lot into the humor...) I need to do a journal again listing my favorite anime... I did one years ago... and it was quite a long list lol.

(I'm never going to be able to correct it... been using them for too many years - lol, but good luck - lol)

I saw Inuyasha, not as a kid, but I began to watch it when the fourth season was halfway through... As a kid I didn't get to watch much of anything and NJ sucks when it comes to anime... (we had things like Fraggle Rock, He-Man, She-Ra, Chipmunks, Smurfs, Jetsons, which I liked the first 4 of those... when I was a child... Though I didn't always enjoy Fraggle Rock... lol-) I found out about anime because I was in a group chat with two of my friends and they kept 'talking' about Sailor Moon... (this was probably within 3 weeks of wondering what the heck Sailor Moon was -lol) on about the third time they 'talked' about it, I asked... and then... I got them on netflix first but they only had the first 3 discs or something like that... (but I began with the dub and it nearly scared me off from watching anymore... I'm glad I tried the subbed...) then I searched and had to download on one of those sites with the torrents... and back then it took like 2 to 3 days at least for each episode... It's so much easier these days... my favorite streaming sites are kissanime.ru/ and www.masterani.me/

NJ only has had two channels... and one disappeared... Adult Swim plays Inuyasha a lot even now I believe... the other channel was Funimation... (a friend of mine had that channel until the cable company Fios seemed to have it disappear...)

Once I watched Sailor Moon, then Inuyasha... I was hooked... still think it's funny when people think anime is cartoons... they should see Attack on Titan and see if they still think that. (though some animated american things are not for children in my opinion... like Family Guy and American Dad... I tried to watch those... but to me it was almost like a rehash of the Simpsons- which was better in my humble opinion...)

You're lucky for being able to watch anime earlier on in your life... I was... Yeah I watched the Kanketsu-hen episodes on hulu (in the year 2010, and hulu was free at the time) as each one became available lol. So I got into anime late in life... like 2002 (I was 22 back then... I'm going be 38 in december - bleh)

I never felt bad for the abuse Jaken got... I felt he deserved every hit/punch/kick- etc... especially when Rin began to step on him because she saw Sesshoumaru do it so many times... I think she only did it once, but that was enough... (And children do learn from their elders... lol) I kept hoping he'd get killed off... lol

I will make that list of anime and you can decide if you want to see any of them or not, but I can reccommend some. Ever watch Fruits Basket? I've seen that one in dub (which for me to watch anything in dub... as I watched most of Inuyasha in dub- that's giving credit... lol) about 5 or 6 times... would have watched it more than that if I didn't give so many other titles a chance... One of my favorite anime to watch is Black Butler (aka - Kuroshitsuji)

I didn't always think Inuyasha should hit Shippou, but... they kinda dished out about the same amount of abuse... and when he didn't Kagome was there to abuse Inuyasha... lol.

True! Inuyasha is the best tsundere... lmao... Though I suppose that kind of runs in the family, though Inuyasha more than anyone in the series...

Oh my!  You surely got reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally late into anime!  I'm glad I didn't take that much myself... And it seems you are even 10 times older than me! Nowadays I start to think I'm some kind of ancient creature here in internet ^^u


I didn't see Kuroshitsuju nor any other of the ones you mentioned.  I should probably take a look for Attack on Titans since it got a season 2 recently and people seemed hyped, hmmm~

As for anime pages I just use spaniard ones,  sub, always sub.... I can't withstand even spaniard dubs, it just... Doesn't fit, no matter how hard they try, it won't be the same in dub.  (Let's be honest, the 90% of times they don't even try.)

I think it was cute for Rin to step on him! Though he didnd't deserve it e_e



Aaaaand, exactly there,  Inuyasha hit Shippou, Kagome hits Inuyasha, hahahaha.  It's not a circle because Shippou doesn't hit Kagome, but still~

Go forth! I recommend as for late on Tokyo Ravens from the ones I saw, because the plot is actually really nice and it manages to surprise you maaany times.

I know, it sucks that I didn't find it sooner, but NJ sucks when it comes to anime... I feel 10 times older than you... are you 3?
I'm sure a 5 year old feels that way online these days... lol

I mentioned the good ones I have come across over the years...
Yeah Attack on Titan's is pretty fun... and creepy. The wait was killing my wife and I... well, my wife was pissed off actually back when we saw the first season (which thankfully, I ignored the hype online for a long time... only thankful because we only waited about 2 years for the 2nd season some waited much longer...)

Wow, I would be so lost on another language... my wife might not... she knows Spanish... but I only know some Japanese and German... but not so much German... and pathetic with Japanese so... I guess I should just say I'm only pretty good with English... We always do sub these days... but I didn't want to offend because let's face it, a lot of people argue over which is better... I feel the Japanese voice actors use 100% of their acting ability while everyone else kind of just... thinks they're voicing a cartoon for 4 year olds... I do think the worst dub to date is still the english dub of sailor moon...

LOL Jaken deserves it, he always deserves it... if not for all the other times he's annoying and nothing happens, then he deserves the karma of his torment... yup yup... lol

Yip, and that makes Kagome the worst one... and I'll tell you why... with all the knowledge she has that for many generations it took documented stuff to know... she knows better automatically... I mean... is there really any good information back then on abuse? noooo.... so yeah... she's a terrible abuser...
