I liked your writing. Would rather see it sooner than groups approve or permit you post.

You do a good job setting the scene in the first few lines. Those few words visible in a preview can make or break the view, and you made it well.

I don't know if you read the Deviant Info on my page or just commented, but my personal quote says "The eye most critical is often that of the artist himself." for a reason. I'd probably have a lot more up here if I didn't dislike it so greatly.

You won't get much negative feedback unless you get sloppy, and that's because you're already good at what you submit. On the downside, since what you submit is literature, you're not likely to get much in the way of positive feedback either. We writers are an unappreciated group here since people would rather see a picture and use a thousand words to praise it than read a thousand words in order to see the picture.

What I read so far was long enough to paint a good picture, yet short enough to avoid tedium. I believe, in Dance, I saw one error that jumped out at me but failed to ruin the good mood I was in. Common mistake that I've made many times. I know that if I were to read back through the stuff I submitted in 2004 I'd find many more faults than that (partially because I've bothered editing some of it, and thus have already caught a lot of them).

So, yes, keep writing. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

It was very well done. And thank you for the wishes. I'm editing an older piece right now, but that process isn't going as smoothly as I'd hoped. I should have it up in a week or so, maybe two.

Then again, maybe having a deadline will inspire me to finish it sooner.

Your piece was an unexpected find in my query. Also, the first I've favorited showing skin like that. I've had a few that I really liked, but didn't really feel like advertising it. (nothing raunchy, but as I never had an artistic nude I didn't feel like adding one then. Probably will now, even though yours is Glamour it's about as bad as the AN pics I liked. )

Hey, I know how hard it is to get recognition for literary art. I'll happily watch someone who takes the time and makes the effort to promote it.

Currently working on editing one of my older pieces; I may join you guys if I like it enough to submit. (not the really long one, that'll take too long to finish editing. )

After having taken a glance at your page I fear it'll be a letdown.

My grasp of this one language I know isn't as good as yours, but then I was pulled from school in 3rd grade. I try to learn from my betters so if you have any advice once I re-submit, I'll gladly listen.

Though you write poetry and not prose, mostly, the Paper Smiles deviation showed a more firm grasp of sentence structure and punctuation than I command. Even if I learn but one thing, it was one thing I didn't know before and makes that a good day.

I'm not as good as you think I am...

You shouldn't really care too much about sentence structures, grammar and that sort of stuff, unless it makes a difference to your poem.

You shouldn't think that any of your works would be a letdown (although I usually tend to think my poems are crap D. You should learn of everything you write, even if it's really trash in everyones eyes. I've written a lot of poems and only a few are good.

Please inform me when your deviation is done.

Well, I've managed to turn 2 1/3 pages of it into 5 2/3 of a page, so I've more than doubled what I was originally just editing. S'what happens when I start flushing things out. I put it down for the night because my mind isn't working so well, and I wasn't satisfied with it originally because I wrote it while falling asleep at the computer.

Since it was just over 12 pages originally I'll have to likely submit it as 2-3 deviations when I'm done because of the 12000 (or so) word limit. I'll see where I sit once I near that many.

I totally get what you mean about thinking your own work is crap. *points up to personal quote*
