Honestly, I don't think you have to worry about the chapters not being written well enough~
Sometimes people just take a while to come up with a comment (like me xD) and if it would have been
not as good as the other chapters, your readers would have said so. People are faster in criticizing than praising.
It might be true that the chapters a shorter than the others but not less good, though I know how hard it can be to
find the right moment/timing to cut a chapter and start a new one^^
I, personally, think that they are good the way they are!

Can't wait to read how the story will continue!

*eep* Thank you so much! You've put my mind at ease! I guess I was just expecting more of a response because people were waiting for Jr to find out, so I kind of felt like I'd disappointed them ^_^'
I'm writing 15 now, will hopefully be ready by Friday I'm trying to take some of the focus off 'Bass' to begin with though, because I don't want people to get sick of that storyline lol

haha yeah, but i was going to kind of do a time skip and speed the pregnancy a little ^_^' i have a lot of future plans for the nameks...
i've thought of tambourine and zarba a lot, and i have a couple of ideas for the other boys, but nothing's definite yet... i guess i still need to decide which way i want to go with that ^_^' right now i'm thinking of introducing a non-OC character, but... again, still deciding

Time skips are a great stylistic device to bridge a timegap - something I like to do from time to time, too
Take your time considering everything There's no need to rush one's fences^^
I definitely won't tell you how to write your story^^ But should you want to talk about something, I'll always listen

My problem is that I have a wild imagination, so I think of ideas a hundred times faster than I can write (which is why a lot of my fanfic ideas have stayed unfinished!), I'll think of a whole story start to finish before I can even finish writing it's prequel lol, and I think of so many scenes and situations... It's hard to keep them under control, so I'm forever trying to decide which ideas to go with and how and when they should be done lol.
But... I have a lot of stuff for The Nameks, I just need to get it organised but honestly, if you think of any ideas you want or anything else, don't hesitate to tell me

Alright, I'll throw my thoughts at you once I get some helpful ones
I can totally relate to that - that's why I could never decide how to progress with my stories until recently, haha.
(I think so much faster than I write and in my head all story arcs are finished but nothing's written on paper actually)
If you have more ideas for possible outcomes and can't decide which one would be the best/you personally prefer,
I think you can always ask your readers and let them vote. That's what I did when I couldn't decide with whom to pair up
my main character back in the old days, haha.
(I had two options but just couldn't decide )

Well, I'd love to see some chapters focusing on the boys a bit more - they always appear as sidekicks in the chapters,
but don't get enough attention for my taste
But that would only be a nice bonus if you can think of something You don't need to pressure yourself with coming up
with ideas for that^^

Haha I've been known to use the voting system in the past too, it's useful
I have thought of a couple of ideas for the boys... I was going to introduce them later on, but truthfully I haven't really put much thought into it... but you've got me thinking about it now, so maybe I'll bring a couple of them forward I guess I've spent so much time thinking of 'Bass' and the other character I'll (possibly) be introducing that I haven't really thought abut the boys. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to introduce them... it could either be really good or it could come across as a total reach, and I don't want Demonic Love to be one of those things where the original is great but the sequels suck ^_^' So... whenever I think of an idea, I struggle to decide whether or not it'll damage the series O.o It's so hard to keep something high up!

Oh yes - it's so hard to surpass oneself after creating a successfull start - trying to living up to the expectations of your followers is always a big pressure but speaking from my personal experience:
if you try to please your readers with all might it'll only get worse; but if you just do what you feel is right it'll turn out better.
Remember how everything started: you started the main/first story more or less for you and not to please others - you developed the story the way you wanted it and your readers were with you and
encouraging you to continue - they wanted to read what you as the author came up with and not what others maybe wanted you to write.
And I think if you continue following your instincts and ideas people will like it.
Of course there's always a chance that some of your older readers might stop following you - but for those you might lose you'll gain new readers.
It's the same with producing art or music - your style, your songwriting your "whatever" will change over time and there will always be people who'll say "you should go back to the roots"
But at the same time there'll be new followers who'll say "you have improved so much, your current style is awesome!".

Just don't think about it too hard Do what you think is right.

But please don't get me wrong: I'm not saying to just take the first idea that comes to your mind, haha.
What helped me when I couldn't decide how to proceed with my stories was to take notes on post-its.
For every idea I used a new one and after collecting all ideas I tried to bring them into a logical order which
also helped me to sort those ideas out that didn't suit the story/where too far fetched etc.
After that I wrote down the rough plot line and then I started to work out summaries for each chapter.
It's a lot of work but maybe it helps you in some way

And you can always shoot me a note if you want an opinion about something~
I think talking to friends or other writers can also help solve some issues because others might see potential in plotlines you didn't even consider etc.
Talking about the storyprogress with my friends helped me to find the right "pace" of the story^^

Yeah, I'm just gonna go with it and see where the story takes itself... that was kind of the reason I did it in sketch style, so that I could be more relaxed with it and just write stuff as it came to me. Thanks for the advice ^_^

Yeah, Dark-Serenity-Sama was my former dA-name, but I never liked the name in the first place, but back then when I created my acc here there was no name available that contained "Serenity" only

Regarding Ahasver: Well, it's not a coincidence that he looks a bit like Tambourine
In my story "Demon Diaries" (formerly Demon Diary) he's one part of the reincarnated soul
of the original DB-Character - thus his similar appearence.
(The other part of the reincarnated soul is his twin brother Tanvalin)

Vales is one of my favorite characters as well!
I'm currently re-designing him for a rp-group called Astral Breach, but I'm still not done yet.

Vales, his twin sister, Elderain and Lukka (these two still need a re-design) are elves that visit the demon world
to fulfill a quest - and coincidentally meet with my demons:
Baltasar (king) and his sons Ahasver, Tanvalin, Ephialtes, Antaios and Beelzefer.

In Demon Diaries I decided to call them "demons" because in the original DB-series King Piccolo refers to himself as one,
also not knowing about his namekian origins. My idea/theory was, that - when he was still one with Kami - he wasn't the
first Namekian on earth and that others had been sent to the planet long before him, living hidden somewhere in peace.
And over the hundreds of years they started to mate with beings from other races and thus the wide range of appearences occured.
I also had the theory that - maybe - not all of King Piccolos offsprings were killed during the first war and that they also decided to
rather stay alive than die and hide somewhere and eventually mate with someone.

But that's only my headcanon

Wow... I can tell you've been working on it for a long time! It's very detailed, and Vales is looking good
Your idea of there being other nameks that were sent to Earth is interesting, I've thought of that myself but only in passing - but it never even occurred to me that there could be surviving children of King Piccolo! That's an interesting concept and a good basis for a story - now I'm imagining the possibility of KP finding out he's a grandfather lol!

I've been working on my original story for over a decade too, about fifteen years I think... I'm always thinking of stuff for it, so now there's too much content to fit in one book lol, it gets a bit out of control... I guess you know how that feels ten years is a long time to think of stuff
