Sorry, I've been lounging around relaxing and reading fantasy novels all summer

But I have been checking in on dA every once in a while and I've done some productive artwork since school started back up for my little sister

but I haven't got around to doing a lot of scanning and digital coloring, So therefore I haven't had much to post, Sorry >_<

I adore the Dambi mold from Luts but I can't seem to find many pics from people who own a Dambi. *Is working on buying her very first bjd and wants to be sure Dambi is right for her Xander character [link] [link] *

To Tai: I've searched the whole internet for pictures of a Dambi mold delf but the only one I can find is adorable you. I can't understand how a delf as cute as you can't have more pics! :huggles:

I know that I fell in love with the Dambi at first sight and he was MY first doll too I now have his sweetheart home with me (delf miyu) as well and his semi-identical twin brother is currently on the way (delf el) my only regret was to not have bought the special version because now I really want the sleeping head for him and I cant get it separate anywhere

You know whats really weird though? My boy Tai has a son in the future, and his name is Xander too [link]

I'm glad you think he'll work out. I was kinda worried it might not work out because I can never find any other pictures of how a Dambi mold could look. It's nice to have a bjd owner's opinion.

I know isn't it?! lol although his full names alexander and he just likes to shorten it but still...

I was sooooo worried when I got my first boy too I was so scared that I wouldn't like him or he wouldn't fit my character and I'd feel like I'd wasted my money, as a character I've had him for nine years now so it was a big deal, and I was still really new to bjd and had only really ever seen 2 or 3 of my uni friend's dolls in person before and then when he arrived I was all like um... cause he had no hair and faceup and stuff but as soon as I had him dressed and put his hair on and gave him a faceup (which was my first and realy rather terrible lol) I was like OMG! Its Tai!!! And I ran round the house showing everyone who were all totally not interested

my family don't really "get" the whole bjd thing they cant understand why I'd spend that much and pretty much think I'm crazy cause I spend more on doll clothes than my own an sit round my room talking to "inanimate" (so not true) objects but I don't care cause they're my prized possessions and I really do love them!

I totally can't wait to see your boy! good luck with saving up for him cause I know how hard that is, I'm a poor student living at home still so guess where my student bursery goes
the worst part is the wait after you first order, especially for your first doll, I'm currently on day 49 waiting for my newest boy *sad flail in the direction of Korea* T^T
