XD That's what I heard about painting, but when I was looking through an art school's catalog, they had A LOT of examples of students majoring in art. Or at least, a lot more than I thought they'd have.

Humm it might depend on the person too. Also if they're sure of what they're doing and if they have contacts in the industry...and of course if they love it too much to study anything else and don't really mind! Personally it doesn't seem like the most stable thing for me to do, and I can always paint on my own time. XD Might seem like "selling out", but I like learning about a different type of art which is more financially stable in my opinion.

haha, I think that's just survival instincts. I like the idea of doing something financially stable, but being able to work on preferable hobbies...But I don't think it'll work out too well if the financial job is so busy that you don't have time for life. D: (I am in a bitter struggle about that with my mother.)

aw, well, hopefully you find something that suits you in the end. I know a lot of people who didn't go into art because of pressure from their parents... but there's nothing stopping anyone from excelling elsewhere at the same time. For me, illustration is the closest thing to my preferable hobbies yet will likely help me more too. We shall see in a few years!

Haha Thanks, I'm ok. Getting more sleep than last year. My hardest class is AP Stat. I get it less than honors geometry.

Yeah, taking AP Studio. Bortz is really annoying this year. He actually forces us to do assignments, saying we should put these in our portfolio, but it just looks like "school work". Someone needs to smack some sense into him and tell him to stop talking.

I am so very sorry about all this. You must be really irked after all I said I'd do. I'll skip the excuses and just say I WILL finish it, but I can't give any exact dates. I've actually restarted drawing Nekoma more than a couple times, but I can't get the right feel for her? Sorry for keeping you in suspense all the time! I really am determined to finish it.

It's ok XD Nekora is a unique name (somewhat made up- even though I later found out that there are other people that came up with it haha) even my best friend mixes up a few letters ahaha XP So no ill feeling at all don't worry. funny thing is that my dad calls her Nekoma (maybe she vibes it)

Actually the pose you chose for Nekora really works for her! giving off the shy impression (especially with the shoulders a little up) cute >w< I really like it so far!
