As tough as you mages are, a simple arrow could pierce your flesh fine. And I'll say this, not even a master sharpshooter can spot just a single arrow in the heat of battle *smirks* Besides, it's not really THE greatest idea to walk into a fight without a bit of protection, atleast carry round' a sheild or somethin' *shrugs* Surely theres a spell that can dispel another mages magic, and there's a good chance you or yer mages might get hit by one Without magic a mage is useless, ya should also carry round' atleast a knife or somethin' Magic can't save ya all the time.

Couldn't a wall of fire melt/burn that simple arrow? Ok, fine we'll take the armour and I'll ask each of them to train with one weapon of their choice. I do anyway-that enough? But yeah, if it's me, then magic CAN save me all the time-ya see I don't have to aim anything at anyone, I can just impose mind control; I can be potentially hugely dangerous or hugely helpful depending whether you're on my good side But I gotta say, I don't agree with a hell of a lot of your plans....

I agree--armor isn't particularly useful to mages. As long as they have some sort of barrier up (as a mage should AT ALL TIMES in battle) then they'll be fine.

Yes it could, but would ya see it in time Ya got bout' a split second to react once the arrow is in sight. Well, well, well Ya put alot of faith into yer own abilities...perhaps a bit too much and yer implyin' that ya can win a war with just yerself and yer mind control magics, is that it Ya don't need us soldiers? From what ya say, magic is the dominant power and melee combat is useless... but there just HAS to be limit to yer use of magic, surely they take some energy out of ya when ya use em'! And when that happens...you'll be glad to have a soldier around to defend ya *victorious grin*

With all that said and done with Would ya be willin' to teach a thing or two bout' the use of magic to us soldiers? Ya know, to further our chance at victory?

Well, since ya got backup, best not to take such a risk and I never doubted that ya cannot defend yerself, it was winin' an entire battle on yer own is what I was concerned with Well! not to brag or anythin' but...I'd be the best canidate for yer personal soldier I mean, I am the General for a reason-actually!! I've come up with some ranks in the army: It would go Troop-soldiers, archers, and sharpshooters fall into this category--, Medic, Officer, Liutenant, Captain, General, and finaly War Leader- Me

So, since the War Leader resides in the Garrison that would mean that I would be close by our HQ To get to you, they have to get through our army, then through the Garrison, and then finally , through me, and if they somehow bring me down, the Aces will deffend ya, aaaannnd finally yer mages will deffend ya--by some freak accident they get that far -- That be the reason I'd be the best choice

Yes it would be rather useful for a fighter to know a thing or two bout' the magic arts. The ability to sheath my blade in flames or give my shield a magical reflective surface would be invaluable!! !!

Yeah, wise decision that-not a good idea being within a mile radius of me in that kinda mood. Even I don't advise it.
Y'know, I said IN-THEORY I COULD not that I actually was planning to go fight a battle on my own 'shakes head' Not at all-at the least, I'd go with the Chessboard and my Aces. And a guard of trained Decanatas. And faultless strategy with plan Bs. And a few animals to add to it. But gotta say, I'd never see the point-I mean, why wage war when you can just say, completely encrypt and fry the motherboards/firewalls/anti-spyware of all our enemies. Then we could have special disarmament units to disarm all the enemy weapons and then just march in. I don't approve of war unless neccessary-and this isn't exactly essential. Also, are we using any Mecha(robot fighter things)like in Gundam/Code Geass? Humans/Mages need not lose their lives. Actually, while on the subject, do we just have an army, or do we have the set-army, navy, airforce?

Ok, so you want the most honoured post of my personal soldier and fighting partner, hu? Kay, but I'll warn you my Ace(it makes sense for 3 to be with you and 1 with me for backup)is who I had in mind for that particular post. He and I've fought together for ages so we know each other's moves and styles
Ok, I don't wanna suggest anything, but who's yer Deputy(I mean since I'm kinda your equal-you couldn't do strategy, I can't handle training mercenaries)? It may seem a bit cautious, but good strategy comes in part from overythinking things and coming up with backup.

Btw, I don't think soldiers will be able to do the magery themselves-us Mages have to, ya see, no-one who doesn't have the gift can't 'shrugs' But I'm sure I can arrange for charms and a few bespelled tricks to help us along Maybe something like dragon's blood (powder), a elixir of african violet for protection, and some Deadly Nightshade/Sorcerer's Berry if you really get desperate? Oh, and these actually exist ya know.

*Takes a step back* Okay, okay my bad In theory...got it-and wow, ya got a whole plan worked out if ya ever have to fight, so guess ya don't require the assistance of a bodyguard War is never essential, fighting however, is *sternly nods* and if ya can find someone who can 'actually' do that whole firewall thing and disarm enemy weapons, then be my guest Again, if ya can get someone to make the mechas, be my guest cuz I sure as hell don't no anyone It's best to keep our armies seperate from those types of things...I was thinkin' on the lines of trusting friends, homeless people, drifters, orphans, someone who'll be glad that we have recruited em'. Now before ya judge me, children will get hurt in someway in this war somehow, and if we do recruit children, they can act as archers or medics- hell!-even spies! I know I'm taking to much of a long shot but how well can we trust soldiers from the armies we are comabating, hmm Other than that, we might want to start an early recruitment thingy on strangers before we start. Lessens the chance of accidently recruiting a spy

Yeah, relax-not gonna do anythin yet. Too much effort, plus, much to early in my plan. Oh, and I didn't I'd find just one person to do it for me, it would be a whole team of hackers With me directing, and it should be ok cause my mum's in that field and I'm pretty sure with a bit of practice I can hack just fine.
Also, can't be me doing all the work and you claiming the title of leader, even though I kinda am the 'unseen power behind the throne' because there's always one of those. But I'm a bit worried about your recruitment tactics-it's almost playing dirty, and I guess you as evil overlorde could, but I for one can't 'shakes head' And these orphans/beggars/homeless people may not want to be in our service anymore once they're sorta well off. Thought of that? No. People should join only because they believe in our cause-it's only right and fair.
I for one don't believe we need a new world at all and that is why: I Quit. I don't want to be Empress of the New World, or Master Strategist-I just wanna live my life and get where I want. SelenaEstella-she joined like literally, yesterday, she writes too and we, like, discuss everything, from charcters to why we hate Kubo Tite(creator of Bleach). Oh, if ya hadn't guessed I'm currently writing a novel of my own-and I have loads of OCs to introduce; no joke-I have 72. That's counting minor characters and ones that appear only a couple of times in the whole book but yeah. Selena knows about pretty much all of this btw. Well, some of yer ideas were decent, others...not so much. But heh, don't think I'm that much better than you at writin-bet I'm not really. Ya have 110 CHARACTERS?! I thought I had too many-but then I can list most of my main ones off the top of my head, and they've mostly got pretty developed personalities and back stories but yeah. I've drawn about half of my characters so far-and introduced 'bout 20-30 something? I lost count 'shrugs' Seriously though, others, like Selena, have only a few characters, she has like, 7; dunno how she manages 'slowly shakes head'.
Ok, sorry to burst yer bubble, but agreeing means a truce-as in we tie. Not yer winning Yeah, so to speak
But I gotta say, yer a lot better at doin backgrounds than I am-I prefer drawing people. But yeah, state I'm in right now, not really fit to draw much -_- Heh, you're intoxicated, I'm probably sleep-walkin 'shrugs'. Oh, and as said, I'm actually writing a sorta ongoing novel rather than short stories. And not really in the mood to write anything right now. But I will send you what I've done at some point.

Trust me, I'm horrible Well I only got bout' 9 actually 'done' the rest have just names and ideas for their bio's and of course their role My main ones are: Kenta Matani, Ciara Wilder, Nolo Icadida, Sanji Mao Iezua, Rai Naga Bakuri, Cianna and Ceada Wilder--Cianna is the eldest, then it goes to Ciara and then Ceada being the youngest-- Rikiu Bakuri, Raylia Ranzan, Remilia-or Remmy as her friends call her-- Armayad. Those are so far the main characters that I can rmemeber at the moment Eh, some people can manage without the use of walkin' I'm sure she can manage a story with just 7 characters *shrugs* maybe

Why couldn't ya disagree nyahahaha I've got races as well! 9 I think...hold on *runs off to a small, dark, closed-off room with a boarded-up window* O-kay! here we go: Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc, Dwarf, Beast-Folk, Nomad, Mared, and Halfling There's no such thing as elemental affinities in the world of Athenim, just those who were bourn with the use of magic and those weren't and had to learn it the old fashioned way, by rituals --forbidden!--, or by the spell being given by one who can bestow such a thing onto another person or thing I know that Kenta is a Japanese name, and I think Renala, but apart from them which ones do I just make em' up! apart from Ciara and those who are normal names

*recovers from excessive laughing* 'sighs' I dono why I laughed so hard but I never heard that saying before Well if it were me I'd say screw the homework, worry bout' the exams at some other time, and just chill until I feel better or doin' somethin' else like doodlin' or...or...hmmm, go on Newgrounds and watch stuff! Awesome videos over there! One of my sisters recently bought all three Toy Stories and I'm gona watch em' at some point *looks around* Never seen the third one yet *shrugs* Ah well, thats just me

So far what I can tell, their bout' a Dragonheart named Arlian and basically it's bout' him tryin' to keep the world safe and dragons are bourn in human hosts. A Dragonheart has a dragon growing inside of them, they live a thousand years and have increased strengths, and seem to have an influence over mortal men and therefore Arlian can have easeier command over his soldiers, he's a general or sumthin' like that by the way Also when a dragon dies it's corpse starts to rot and decay, they also shoot venom, not fire --not that I can remember -- and to become a Dragonheart, one must comsume the venom, a 'blackmarket' product and illegal to trade or be collected without a lords permission. It's such a damn good book if ya have a chance of getting a copy, get it! You won't regret it *justly nods*

That "small, dark, closed-off room with a boarded up window" is my room One of my sisters boarded up my one an only window, it's terribly dark, far too small, and as I've mentioned, boarded up...I've got no air circulation! I get the shit end of everythin' in this house... but- meh! anyway! I'm pretty sure there are some scrolls or old texts that can teach a spell or two to one who knows nothin' bout' it *shrugs* The forbidden rituals are just as bad as necromancy- and last I checked, yer were against such things
