In terms of the fanfics, they're on hold until my current fanfic, The Awakening is complete. After that, I really don't know

So i was just wondering if there will be an update to your story any time soon? Its one of the best attack on titan stories I've read, and i hope you haven't stopped writing it.Β Β

Β Don't worry, I have no intention of quitting on it. But this year has been an exceptionally busy one for me: we've have stuff go down in the family that needed our attention, nothing serious, just time consuming and tedious things; and we've had a few financial issues that needed sorting out. Basically, it's been one thing after another, and none of them were the kind of things you can just put to one side.
Also, I've been doing some serious rethinking on the direction of the plot, and where the story is heading as a whole. I don't want to drag it out into a story that goes on for years simply because I can't make my mind up on how to bring it to the conclusion that feels natural for the story that's being portrayed; but at the same time, I don't want it to turn into a story that's all about what I want exclusively. It needs to stay with the direction I originally set it out on, it needs to hold the meaning and substance that it started with. And me being busy with other stuff this year has thrown me way out of touch.
I've got other commitments coming up this month, but once they're out the way, I will sit down with pen and paper, re-watch the 1st season of attack on titan, and get back in touch with The Awakening: believe me, I WANT to do this and get back into writing, period! But it has to be done right: I don't do things half-hearted and half-cocked, and if this story is going to go the right way, I'm going to do a damn good job of of it; so hang in there and don't worry, It will be done!
