# About me

'ello, 'ello. I'm around a lot of places and sites, so if you think you've seen me around before - well, you may very well have. I'm not around on DA much anymore, and you may notice most my newer stuff has a different signature tag? Well, DA has the unfortunate problem of making it difficult to change your username unless you pay - and I don't have enough interest in doing so. I have mostly switched my stuff over from SnowyAshCat to using Wyshca, it's just that this is a pretty old account. So, yeah. Anyways...

I really enjoy art and literature. I'm particularly interested in learning to do digital art, but I mostly paint and write poetry with some airbrush, sketching, jewelry making, and fiction stories thrown in the mix. I'm also a fan of fanfiction and have tried my hand at it a few times.

Lately, I've been doing fluid acrylic pouring and have been looking into macrame and bookbinding as well. Unfortunately, I don't have a decent camera so these won't be getting posted here on DA anytime soon.

O.o I need to check my Deviant Art page more often. Haha. I got the request and was just like "Cool. Okay, no idea how this person found me, or why the friend request... But they have cool art." XD
But yeah, nope didn't mind at all. And if you ever need anything over there, or have questions feel free to call on me. I am typically on FF more than here tho. XD

Thank you, I'm happy to hear your reading it. To be honest I was always nervous how people would react to it.
Fanfiction.net seemed to receive it in an okay manner and I got constructive criticism more than anything. I had
only one negative and rude comment, but I over looked it... so I'm hoping that Archive of Our Own will be just
as tolerant.

You're welcome. You have some really awesome stuff. I'm looking forward to going through some of your tutorials.

And really I need to be thanking you. I'd never heard of Blender before looking through your gallery and now I'm really, really hyped to try it out next time I have some free time. I'm hoping to try and find some free time to maybe play your beta game too, but I can't make any promises as free time is a very precious commodity that I have little of unfortunately.

Thanks a lot miss! If you want to use Blender, you have to know, it's not always intuitive, but it's very powerful! It's a great free alternative to 3D Studio Max and Maya. And that's nice if you have time to test my game, but don't bother if you can't! I know time is a very precious resource Anyways, thanks for stopping by! Cheers!

No problem - you have some really awesome stuff. I have to say I'm pretty intrigued by the 3D digital art stuff in general. I've gotten to play around on Inventor (Auto-CAD) once to make a thingy for a 3D printer, but that was really different from getting to try and make actual art work on a 3D program. I can't even begin to imagine how much time something as complicated and detailed as some of your pieces would take.
And Thank you! I don't think I've ever had anyone call any of my stuff epic before.

MiriLizeth In reply to SnowyAshCat [2014-12-07 19:55:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much!
You are very luck to be able to use Auto-cad, and believe me; once you get the hang of it. The 3D program will become easier and easier to use. Is just like any problem for Adobe, such as Photoshop. If you are able, I recommend to get 3D Maya program, which that the 3d program i use for my 3d work. Is a lot of fun! Even at first it might be very frustrated and hard to understand, but with a lot of practices you will understand. Also to add the color (texture) to your object, you will use Photoshop files to 3D Maya! Which that where the real details begins ^_^
Really? Well, you better believe it, SnowyAshCat! ^^ I'm also intrigued about your artworks as well, especially how do your abstracts in Photoshop. I always use Photoshop, but I never expects that Photoshop can be use that way that you use it! In addition, I really thank you for sharing your work on public

I might see about trying out the Maya program if I ever have the chance. I looked it up to see about buying it (because the best way I'm able to learn is just by playing and doing on a program, and the best way to really have time for doing so if it's on the device I carry everywhere), but it's kind of really out of my price range. XD I think one of the campus libraries might have some computers with the program, but I don't know if you have to be in a certain major or class to use them.
I have Photoshop elements from like 6 years ago. It's actually more geared towards editing photos and doesn't have several of the newer features that makes it easier to draw and make designs from scratch. (Features that I typically discover on youtube tutorials, then get frustrated when I don't have them on my own photoshop. XD) Most of my works really is just gradients and layering. I just discovered the liquefy effect like two days ago and have been using it for several of the newest ones I posted. It's what lets me push around the colors and do blending and swirling and all.

Hahaha it happens. Just go ahead and check on the campus. In mind, it does have it  In cause if isn't possible, there is way to get it for free.

Wow, really?! I need to starts to do that XD Thanks!
