# About me

I consider myself a student as I have had relatively little formal training. Mostly self-taught till now but am working on more formal learning as well.

My favorite subject to draw are people. The face (portraits) and body (both nude and clothed figure drawing). Most of my work tends to fall in those categories even the pop art that I do.

Recently, I have been branching out and trying to enhance general skill with still life as well. Kind of enjoying that as well now.

Up until recently, I have done mostly pop art (read: comic book, manga, anime style) and in that mostly pencil sketches.

However, I have been delving more and more into traditional art with pencil, graphite and charcoal mainly, with a dash of other black & white mediums. I am particularly fond of charcoal despite the mess. Also traditional style ink drawings (bottle of ink, nib holder, nib) are gaining popularity with my inner artist.

In the past I have used Photoshop for touch-ups and manipulations. However, I am starting to mess around with digital art and painting a bit as can be seen with my iPhone folder. Planning to get a real tablet sometime soon. ;)

You're welcome. It is really impressive. Particularly the contacts make the picture really pop when juxtaposed with the clothing color scheme.

You're welcome. Seriously amazing stuff. Most adult artists can't draw that well after years of work. Don't let it go to your head but it is really impressive work, especially for someone your age.
