My goodness it's like anything that involves using your hands as a hobby/profession builds up alot of the callouses, but its like they feel like they burn after awhile. Totally worth the dedication. I couldn't imagine how it would feel to have those guitar callouses ughhhhhh.

Yeah, I've been shooting longbow/recurve in pretty heavy weights
for my size (I'm really small) so my right middle finger is actually rather
deformed - it has a slight bump on the side from shooting.
