Hello, madhatterkisuke here. Your stash works are all awesome. Your draft story is interesting. Can't wait for the next thing.

I had a feeling you might reply here. I don't know why, but I checked, and here you are. Thank you, I hope to make all of those things complete one day but right now all of the art is just a sketch with colour thrown on it and the story is just words straight from my mind. Unedited and raw... I'm amazed you weren't disappointedΒ

Really? pokemon and FNAF.
I definitely have to ask then, favourite pokemon games and favourite animatronics/characters? I was playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Darkness last week. I know it's a spin-off type but I played the earlier ones many years ago so I thought it would be fun. It still kind of is

SonictheZombie In reply to ExternalDragon [2015-04-24 12:36:51 +0000 UTC]
Ah so you played Time instead. Yes, I played Omega Ruby a while ago too, it didn't feel as great as some of the others? I mean even X was a little more fun... maybe that's just me. I think Pearl, SoulSilver, Mystery Dungeon Blue rescue team and Black are my current favourites for the series. I've never played rumble though, what's it like?
Oh yes, Chica used to be my favourite. But now I think it's probably (The Marionette if it counts), Freddy, Chica and Bonnie (old versions). I've been listening to a few of the fan songs lately like: It's been so long, Mangled, The Show must go on and Back Again. Some of them are really good.

What's the main goal of the game, is there an actual story or is it just gameplay? I've never really looked much into the game but I've seen it around a few times.
Which song was that in reply to? I think I mentioned about 4 of them...

Hello! I am doing okay, thanks. Lol I'm enjoying myself over here in the snowball Canada staying in and shit, and yeah it has D: I saw you online earlier with your recent submission. Sorry I haven't spoken to you in a long time ;~;
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-15 11:44:30 +0000 UTC]
Oh, that's cool. I've always wanted to go to Canada...the snowball part though... Yeah, I haven't put any of my art on here at all. I've still been working on it, just not uploading here. That one was for a contest Β Β That's partially my fault too, I only really go on DA to check messages about others submissions and journals. Most people I used to talk to seemed a little distant so... I thought it would be awkward after all of this time. But it's good to hear that you're doing ok.Β Β Β
π: 0 β©: 1
ShatteredLegends In reply to SonictheZombie [2015-02-15 16:13:43 +0000 UTC]
Oh, it's a snowball part in a lot of places in Canada XD I live in Ontario -- Niagara actually -- and it's a goddamn snowball during the winter. I would prefer to go to Windsor, or hell even Vancouver. It's warmer over there. And I see. D: It's fine though. I mean I only go on here to look at art that comes into my messages. My friends on the other hand, well, we don't use DA to talk much anymore, ever since we've all got Skype now. Otherwise, I don't typically speak to many people anymore. But it's nice to see you're still here!
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-16 13:57:48 +0000 UTC]
That still sounds pretty cool though, being from Australia, I've never really been around snow. It's good to know these things if I plan to visit Canada in the future ^^. Yeah, not many people are very active here anymore and the long gap in talking to one another sure added to that distance... it's just a lot of people left... I rarely see people talk on here anymore. But then again, I've moved other places for keeping in touch too. DA seems so much different looking back on it now... Same to you Β Β Β it's good to know that there's still some people around here haha ^^ Do you still upload much here yourself? Or have you moved art elsewhere too?
π: 0 β©: 1
ShatteredLegends In reply to SonictheZombie [2015-02-16 15:41:48 +0000 UTC]
Well true fact, when we first met I use to live in Australia it's a huge leap from being in the utter microwave to the utter freezer XD and yeah, it sucks nowadays that most of the chaps are disappearing. And yeah, I still upload here. I mean, I have started to shift around the place between FA and Steam. More or less just Steam to be honest. I've been thinking about making SFM videos over drawing but then again, I just dump whatever I make here before throwing it somewhere else.
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-18 08:01:48 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I've heard that about how opposite Canada and Australia are :'D
Yes, not as lively as it used to be around here but there's still a lot of good art on here, so I guess that's why browsing art became all I do on here...
Ah, fair enough, I'm usually more on tumblr than anything, that's when I'm not watching youtube videos though haha. I use DA as an art sharing thing through St.ash sometimes besides that it might be the occasional rare artwork. I guess most people do still upload on DA, so you don't draw as much now? Though, SFM??? I might know of this... but would you mind explaining
π: 0 β©: 1
ShatteredLegends In reply to SonictheZombie [2015-02-18 16:28:09 +0000 UTC]
Mhm. Well I'm a guy who use to live in the UK and that was in the middle XD So now I've gone from the average place to the boiling place to the freezing place. :U I have such an amazing life [though I don't have to worry about having a bloody Huntsman running around in the house anymore, I just need to be a bit careful going out in the snow]
But yeah, all I use DA for now is browsing art and probably dumping some artwork. Otherwise I typically just go onto Steam or Youtube to waste my days. And I actually have drawn a bit more than I use to, but more or less I do Garry's mod pictures. And SFM means Source Filmmaker, it's what Valve used to create all of their trailers for Half Life, Team Fortress 2 and for their other games. I make short little videos, but if I were to spend YEARS in SFM www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aLjwV⦠I could make something like this, but then again it took an entire TEAM of people to put that together so.
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-21 12:29:14 +0000 UTC]
I've heard that the weather usually isn't that great in the UK though, a bit like New Zealand. Quite the jump in temperature huh? Yes, it must be fun to travel so much and see so much of the world, but of course there's the people and places left behind. Huntsman spiders aren't that bad (unless they're hanging above you or jump out), I'm more afraid of finding a funnel web or redback Snow does seem better than spiders any day though.
Yeah, Youtube is a good place to waste the hours away, same goes for tumblr... That's what it stood for! I knew it seemed too familiar for me not to know it. So you're really into Garry's mod then. That was a pretty great video, very smooth as well, thanks for sharing. It's no wonder it took a team of people to pull that off. But there are some that are by themselves that create amazing things. I wish you the best in creating videos then. It must take a lot of skill to make animations like that.
Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy with my uni stuff right now...Β Β
π: 0 β©: 1
ShatteredLegends In reply to SonictheZombie [2015-02-21 16:15:55 +0000 UTC]
Well at least it's a better jump to cold temperatures than freezing. Sides it warms up faster in England during the mid period than Ontario does thanks to the Arctic Vortex being a jerk to North America. Lucky me for not ever seeing a funnel web, but Redbacks oh god. Well they have Black Widows over here but I have yet to see one, naturally because the cold is extremely harsh on insects.
That is true, for both of the websites. And yes, I'm a Garry's Mod user and SFM animator. I know right? That video was an amazing piece of fan work for Valve, in fact it was suppose to be for an Update for TF2 that turned out to be a bit of a bummer, cause of the stuff being divided to other updates during the Summer and the Christmas one. Not to mention it took over a year to do the video too.
And it's fine by the way. ^^' University is a huge leap in things to do. I'm glad you're there as well c8 I mean I'm still finishing up school over here in Canada because the garbage I had in Queensland delayed me >:C after that I'll be moving on to College and Computer Tech.
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-22 11:36:39 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I personally prefer the cooler temperatures but there's a huge difference between cold and freezing. Sounds harsh. Yeah I've been lucky enough to never see a funnel web as well...not so lucky with seeing a redback, lucky it wasn't in our house though. That is the definition of nope, well snakes are more common anyway. I've seen a lot of those over the years... That sounds great though! Not as many insects, I get so sick of flies and other pests =_=
I used to watch a few short Garry's mod videos, mostly Kitty's but you know... also rubberfruit's short videos. Yeah I saw people talking about that in the comments. I think a similar one I watched not that long ago was Expiration date. The one you shared seemed like it was going to be serious, but like all other TF2 things... that's never the case. Yes, it's like animation I guess, that takes a really long time regardless of skill level.
Yeah... I have my first classes in uni tomorrow, yay, since it's so far away I have to get up early and catch the train...
That tends to happen when people take what they've learned overseas, even between borders here that happens. It makes it feel like a waste of time -_- Β At least the universities tend to be recognized worldwide in teaching... Computer tech? Any specific area of passion in that?
π: 0 β©: 1
ShatteredLegends In reply to SonictheZombie [2015-02-22 19:49:06 +0000 UTC]
That's true indeed.
Well yeah, surprisingly, I didn't see that many snakes to be honest. Dunno why actually, just never saw any in the Brisbane area that much when I was there. And it is kind of a relief not to see insects for a lot of the year, but in October time there are, to be honest, a LOT of Hornets and Wasps. And I mean, a HELL of a lot.
Yeah, I know. Those two were a couple of my favorite Gmodders, but it really does sadden me to see Kitty go though. He was around the same age as me, but he had his entire life ahead of him. It really is a shame. And yeah, that is true.
Oh I see. Damn that sucks a lot. I mean, you've got the tougher job geting up early as hell to get the train. Then again, I have to get up at around 7:30 to get out of the door by 7:50 to get to the bustop -- which is a ten minute walk AROUND the damn neighbourhood which would be so easier if there was a PATH to it from my house cause I can see the damn road from my window. But then going out in -30 is a challenge as hell I can't even be allowed to leave the house.
But that's for school, university is a LOT more important than that.
Yes, it does. It REALLY is annoying as hell to be honest. It would be so much easier for a lot of people if the Commonwealth countries had a slightly similar system. I mean, Canada and Australia are part of the Commonwealth with Britain, New Zealand and a few others. People who were born in the Commonwealth should all have the same right. We all have the same MONARCH for god sake. Just cause our accents are different and we sit around on different islands doesn't mean we came from different sources, jeez. And I prefer to go into Programming and designing actually. I mean, I have made several videos with a bunch of my buddies in Scotland earlier. I use Camtasia and Movie Maker, plus I like to create with Dreamweaver and Corel Draw as well as Paint.net c: I like being rather creative with what I do.
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-24 09:31:10 +0000 UTC]
Huh, that is strange, but I guess it depends how close you live to bushland and creeks when it comes to seeing snakes. Hmm, hornets and wasps are pretty bad, like super bad... but I don't know, maybe that is still slightly better than all kinds of annoying insects everywhere. Especially flies and beetles. Household pests. Both cases really are terrible, it's more of the lesser evil...
Yeah, it's hard to see his stuff now, it's still amazing and funny but then it really hits you with what happened. It's always sad when people go so young.
I swear I have literal bags under my eyes by this point and it's only my third day. I wish my lectures and pracs weren't so early but apparently there was a chance it would be at 7:30pm... so 8am doesn't seem so bad when considering that That must be so taunting though, streets like that are the worst, they just force you to go the long way around... such a waste of time... It's not that hard to have walkways in such places. Yeah, the cold must add another level of difficulty, I mean when it's early AND cold, that's when it's difficult to even get out of bed :'D
Yeah, that would be an easier system then there wouldn't be this clash of what you've learned when you move or travel. It would be better if it was almost worldwide things, but even alone in European countries would be enough. I don't get how different the learning can really be, shouldn't concepts be the same anyway? I think it's just the difference in teaching and grading, along with year level differences... still it is annoying to know everything you've learned, you have do do all again =_=
That's pretty cool, is there any particular career you'd be aiming for with that, like designer for a company or for movies/advertisement/gaming/creative industries? Yes, it would be interesting going into an area that allows you to be creative and flexible in what you do. Well, all the best with that then when you get there!

True true. I know, they are a real pain in the ass in the Autumn, but hey, LADYBUGS
But eh, that's only when it is not snowing. Trade off.
And yeah, sadly. It's a HUGE shame and it's unfair too.
And sorry for not talking xnx I've been busy yesterday.
And yeah, true. XD
And for the last part I was meaning like to do with maybe support for whatever comes out. I mean I have a lot ahead of me but I haven't clearly chosen what I will aim to get for a job in. It'll come when the time to think about it is full.

SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-02-27 10:12:52 +0000 UTC]
Having a ladybug land on you is still one of the most exciting things, because of the whole "they bring good luck to those they land on" story. It's a cute thought.Β
That is true, it must suck to have so much snow around after a while, especially deep snow and snow storms. It's exciting, I guess, when you don't have to deal with it all the time.
Yeah...
Oh, that's okay, I'm a little slow with replies myself right now. We all have those stressful, busy times. It's completely fine ^^
Yeah, school can be like that though as well, forcing you to decide your career before you've even seen anything about the future, or made any decisions. Even the subjects you take contribute to what you can and can't do, it's un-necessary stress on people, often interests in career change frequently and more so after you finish school and have a chance to experience these career paths. Don't worry, I'm at uni and I'm still not clear cut on exactly what area of work I want to move into. But by doing a biomedical course there's a lot of choice and career pathways in medicine and research. Ideas and aspirations can change, and that's a good thing.

It is actually x3
It does, unfortunately. I mean next week I'm going to be away for two weeks because I'm going to be in England.
Ah, right.
That is true, to be honest. I really do not enjoy the fact you have to do things that probably won't even be relevant later on. That's just what happens. Oh well, but I will figure out what I do in my life when I find that one thing, but so far it looks to be like I will be going into Computer technology and programming.

SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-03-05 11:32:44 +0000 UTC]
Oh, that sounds pretty cool! Is it a vacation kind of thing or strictly business?
Yeah, they seem to say that no matter what you put your time into learning. Things aren't as relevant as we'd like to believe most times. Yeah, I get that feeling. I was unsure for so long where I was going to go, still hazy even now. But I chose science because it's something I can understand and do. It will do, until I can find that perfect interest. I guess you're doing the same thing, sticking to something that you can relate to now until things are 100% clear.

Haha, as if having time zones and seasons being different wasn't enough, some school starts and ends in other places just seem so strange to me. I'm used to starting at the start of the year and having breaks at the middle and end...Β

Yeah, it's strange, I never quite get some of them, starting and ending in strange months like october or the middle of the year... Maybe there's just some reason I'm not seeing
Ah, it's finally time for me to relax for a few minutes before tomorrow comes... turn on a music playlist and do some art. I never quite knew, what is your favourite genre of music?

It was on and off to be honest xwx didn't do anything fun.
Ah, right. the times for when things start and end are indeed iffy anyway.
Oh, I like a few types of genres. Some OSTs I enjoy, Post-Hardcore like SleepMakesWaves -3- plus some alternative metal like Breaking Benjamin [which finally released ONE SONG after over 5 years of not doing shit] and I use to listen to Linkin Park a lot.
π: 0 β©: 1
SonictheZombie In reply to ShatteredLegends [2015-04-02 08:07:28 +0000 UTC]
Again, sorry, I'm only just getting around to replies. This week was hell. Mid semester final examinations at uni this week, and a research assignment was due...Pain...so much pain this week. I have had seriously no time for myself... T_T Sorry for the wait...
Oh? Well that's sad, not being able to do anything fun and exciting, but I guess that wasn't the main reason of going. Maybe it just wasn't the right time/place.
Very strange times...
Oh yeah, I have heard of SleepMakesWaves before, I don't remember the music well though, maybe I'll have to look it up ... OSTs are amazing too, especially video game ones, those are my favourites, any general OST that's your favorite? Alternative metal too, huh? I used to listen to a lot of Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin too... right now though it's generally Metal, Rock and all kinds of Techno, Chill, House, DnB and Glitch Hop are the favourites though. I'm drifting back into my techno daze haha. I still have a few linkin park songs lingering around in my playlist though, like Castle of Glass, Final Masquerade and Across the Line.Β
