If Square doesn't re-buy it, the guy who originally made Xenogears probably could, and well...

That would be so totally awesome. Admitively, I did like the graphics of Xenogears, but it's not like they'd take away my old copy. I wonder if they'd go for realism or keep it kind of cartoony, like Xenosaga.

Yeah, Id and some of the others (Hammer) might translate poorly into a more realistic style. Though the transformation sequence (Fei-> Id) would be cool.

Or better yet, like the game Disgaea in a way, you know? Not the chess-like play in it but just as small, and 2D.
