I've been writing poetry for years now. I don't have the artistic experience to create amazing visual works of art like , but I'd like to think I'm good at expressing myself with the written word....Yeah.
Anyway, all of my poems are based upon my own thoughts or real-life experiences. I can take inspiration from just about anything.
You know, I've seen a lot of people requesting commissions for their artwork as a way to make money. Does that even work with poetry? Heh, I don't even know if that's possible. If it is, though, I might try it... funds have been a bit tight lately,

Aw, man I haven't been active even since you left this comment. Damn, I've been a bit down in the last week, but science says, "Eddie Izzard stand up and a runner's high will cure anything." So I feel somewhat better now and I mean to get into it again. I still have folders upon etc to load up. Get Ready.
Have you thought on specifics for your kiriban win commission? Or would you just rather I continued to read your SHADE series and draw from inspiration?

I'd prefer the second option. I've never done a commission before, and I certainly wouldn't know what would look 'right', you know? Better to leave it up to the artist. All that I request is that you read a chapter or two from SHADE and draw whatever it is you feel like.
I understand. Everyone has a life outside of dA - you and I are certainly no exception. Hell, I haven't added a new chapter in a couple weeks, either... probably should get back to work on chapter four.
