# About me
Who Am I? I am Spirael! O-or Rae if you prefer...I'm a thirty-something computer programmer (technically a database developer, but that's harder to understand ;) ), wife and mother-of-two who lives in the United Kingdom. Between my family and day job, I occasionally get a chance to write or draw - so that's what you'll find here. :D
I have a massive list of projects I wish I had time to do, so I'm afraid I rarely have time available to do commissions, requests, collaborations, etc. I'm sorry! If that ever changes (maybe when I reach retirement age
) I'll be sure to advertise the fact. However I do my best to respond to all comments, so if you enjoy my work then please do let me know! As you may notice from my gallery, I'm a Ninja Turtles fan. Most of my art has been from the 2012 series, but I also love the original live action films, the IDW comics and I have a soft spot for the 2003 series. I love all four of the brothers, so don't tell them that Donatello is my favourite. ;)
The picture above? Yes, that's me, in a Donatello costume I made. It was originally for the summer carnival parade in the small market town where I live... But since then it's seen a few more outings at comic-conventions and been really well received! If you're in the UK and see me around at any events, I'm happy to stop for hugs/photos!
Just come and grab me or my minder - as I have very limited visibility when I'm in full costume. I hope someday to bring my costume abroad to SDCC or NYCC!I'm also a tabletop roleplayer, so you might find art from those games cropping up occasionally as well! Although, lately, drawing the characters seems to be a kiss of death for the games, so consequently I've been doing less of them. :P
I have a modern fantasy book series that I'm in the progress of writing, that I hope to self-publish at some point. Preferably before retirement, but I'm flexible.

Aaaa! I just finished all of the chapters you have posted so far, and you HAVE to write the rest! This is a fabulous story and I am really enjoying it! I can't wait to find out what happens next!
I love how you had Donnie inherit April's telepathic abilities. He is the kind of person that would find that really cool if he wasn't so freaked out about the manner in which he obtained those abilities!
And when they were unwittingly taking the Mikey clone back to the lair, I was like, "No! Don't take it back to the lair! It's a clone!" but they didn't listen to me.
Very awesome story, and I'm looking forward to more!

I'm impressed and very happy you picked up on the Mikey clone! I wrote the hints in, but a lot of people seemed not to realise until it became somewhat obvious. XD I'm glad that I didn't completely botch my foreshadowing.
I usually try and post updates on Friday and Sunday, but I'll endeavour to also remember to post a notification here when I put each one up.

Your foreshadowing was perfect! I think the thing that made me suspect it the most was the lack of resistance the turtles faced in getting him out of there. It felt like the bad guys wanted them to take him.
You're doing a great job writing this! Keep it up!
