Hiei's my all-time favorite character. He's the one I draw the best out of the leading four guys. XD. I've a RIDICULOUSLY sweet Kurama drawing in the works right now. My brother just saw a peek of what I have sketched out thus far, and he was just like, "Oh my god. WOW. That's going to look fucking SICK when it's done." (pardon the language; those were his exact words & i'm not one for censorship). I won't be able to scan it though; it's in my biggest sketchbook. ^_^;; So a picture of it will have to be taken.

It's kinda sad though. This one is going to be absolutely wicked and detailed... And it's Kurama. I've yet to do something awesome as far as Hiei goes. :/ I have a really nice Kurama one in my fanart folder on here. In fact, I have a TON of YYH art I've done in the past couple years in the fanart folder. There's much more on this account to look at than what was in the other account.

I just haven't been able to think up a great idea for a Hiei drawing. Kurama always ends up being the one I throw into the really wicked drawings. I'm half tempted to post a sneak peek, but then there won't be much awesome left for final thing because I have a little bit more left to do. I wish I wasn't too lazy to do a background. I'm afraid it'll ruin it. ^_^;;

Yeah wait until its done! > I wanna "ooh" and "aww" at it xP. Oh believe me I'm the same way with backgrounds, I always think I'm going to mess them up. But lately I've been doing backgrounds because I've been drawing for my Portfolio class and my teacher doesn't really like anime drawings because they're easier than realism. Sooo he makes me draw backgrounds xD

I think sometimes people underestimate the skill that goes into anime and manga drawing. Other than chibis, there's just as much effort put into it as far as proportions go. :/

The art class I was in at the high school I went to had pretty much structure or anything. I sometimes wish I'd gone elsewhere. I probably would have better skills than I do. /sigh/ Nothing I can do about it now.


There are no college classes for anime/manga styled art. I sooo wish there was. >o<

Yeah its a lot of work Dx I think one of the most difficult problems is making the lines clean and look nice... And the face proportions used to mess me up REALLY bad xD

Lol my class is basically just for people that want to go to art school... So the class prepares you by making a portfolio... Theirs not any really assignments I just let my teacher look at my drawings once I'm done with them o.O

I did better having art first thing in the morning. I think it was because I was half asleep whenever I'd show up and could focus on just about anything thrown at me and not care. It was seriously the one time of day where in that art class, just about everyone didn't care and were pretty much down to do anything the teacher told us to. ^_^;
