The first time she took flight filled her with joy. Freedom, and the world at her feet. A song rose in her chest, trying to tell the world how she felt and what it was missing out.
Then she fell.
A broken wing was the diagnose.
But in truth, it was the broken heart inside of her that would take longer to mend.

Father found her in the field during one of His daily walks. He saw how much she had fought to stay alive and His heart filled with love and compassion for her. So He picked her up in his arms and brought her home.
A beautiful soft bed to rest in, placed next to the fireplace so she would not feel the cold of the night. Father made sure everything was right; peace and safety were important and He wanted to provide for her. He knew she just needed time and care.
So time went by.
Some days, she would cry in despair. She felt powerless
