i'm fine Thanks for asking My work was cancelled so I got to stay home. My area hasn't lost power but i have coworkers and friend's who did lose power. I'm fortunate

ofc!! One of my friends from Cali texted me asking if I had power, so I had to look it up. There's nothing to be concerned about in the SW/PDX area - we've had like one inch of snow, maybe two, tops, and we're nowhere near as sloped as Seattle - but it's bad enough in the roughly central region that the governor has declared a state of emergency ;A; tbh I was relieved when I came on to check on you last night and you'd uploaded something like five minutes prior. I don't think there have been any deaths (at least, I hope not), but some 80k people are estimated to be without power. It's scary.

oh wow Well I think it's just one more storm that will pass through ... hopefully. My work got cancelled again (I am so grateful they put guests and employees first before money..)

Hopefully not! The power outage thing is crazy. My roommate got called into work as an emergency (he does traffic control for construction workers and such) and hes working for 22hours out there so this electric company can restore to areas that need it later today.

I am lucky my small area has power because a lot of areas around me keep losing it. I live in Parkland/Tacoma right now. Heard puyallup and olympia keep getting hit hard and losing power.

Thank you!! Things are much better now. Got myself a new laptop that works and doesn't have a broken screen or lag lol Settled more in regards to my job and all that vs working the two . In a much better place now and I'm hoping to TRULY get back into my art again.

I'm? Okay? Vague af lol. Had to quit my last job (which was seasonal/temp/part-time anyway) because I cannot, mentally or physically, handle eight-hour shifts. I've just started meeting with a new basically employment counselor, but tbh I'm anxious at the thought of even having another job because right now, I can't do all the chores/errands/house-cleaning every day without being exhausted, and I can only keep it up for 2-3 days before I crash. I have two furryboys and Jesse has a new job, though, so that's nice. Mostly I've been working on/being inspired by working on my species, kinda aiming to turn it into an ARPG/virtual pet site type of thing.

Eh, bad stuff did happen. To me and my associates so i left because I didn't sign up to be promoted into a toxic management team lol The other managers would make my associates cry, and I was driven back into my depression. which took a good idk.. 6 months to recover from and get back to where I was prior? The new apartment and job helped tons.

Ahh that stinks Though having an employment counselor can help you find a more suiting, and hopefully more positive, place to be. I'm blessed that where I am is AMAZING. Best workplace ever besides my Vans store in Cali. I get paid min, wage but I'm sooo happy here.. hard to find a job you can be happy at anymore.. However I'm confident you'll eventually find that great job for yourself too. Some places only need someone twice a week. At my work, a girl only works 3 days.. 12 hours a week total. three of her shifts are just 3 hours and the other is like 4.

Are you still at the condo? I believe thats what you moved into last time we talked.

Ahh that sounds great. I really wanted to do a virtual pet site thing before my big hiatus as well.Back when hunbuns were growing in popularity. I've done it before... way before I got into Deviantart lol. But the website I had used to make it was closed down..:/ My art skills were also not that great lol.

I'm excited to see what the future brings for you with your art though it always seems to be growing and changing! Thinking about where your art, and mine, came from when we first met to see how our art is continuing to grow over time. It seems like while our personal lives could still be better... I think we're going in the right direction there also. I know where I'm at now compared to a year ago is like a whole 180 turn.

Ah, yes, we're still at the condo! Now that we have two cats and zero personal space, we look forward to someday having a 3 bed/2 bath house with a fenced yard haha. (Tall order for this area for sure.)

I don't really have the words to frame my thoughts on your final paragraph... but I really like it. <3 And while our lives could be better (lol), we've also learned a lot and grown from all the bullshit.

Welll, i think it is good, and i did many "messy line" sketches with it, but I have problems synchronizing what's on screen with the motions on the tablet, haha.
Right now I'm trying to save for a Huion KAMVAS GT191. It has a display and pretty much act as a monitor, too~
Wow, drawing with a mousepad must have been really hard, but I guess that's why your drawing skills are so good now!
