Someone showed me that. If you must know, I was the said "troll". I lol'd at the labeling, because of the fact that if I disagreed with his "truth", that means I get blocked and my comments are flagged as "spam".

I'm pretty sure it's because he got sick of the same kind of replies to his journal saying that Sonic's design isn't nearly as important as the gameplay. Were you the first person to make that observation?

I don't think so, but I did tell him to quit whining, because it's not a big deal.
I wouldn't have told him that if he didn't act so elitist and act like his words were the truth.
I put " " on his journal. Unfortunately, he didn't get the fact that I said that, not because he's whining ( that was part of the reason, but not the biggest reason ), but mostly because of the fact that online petitions just don't work.
I also replied to one of his other comments, stating that the green iris in Sonic's eye gives Sonic more character than a black pupil would, because it gives a character more trait and personality, I believe.
I wouldn't believe him on what he said about replying to twenty of those statements, though, because what I saw was a bunch of people agreeing with him anyway. The ones who disagreed weren't responded to at all.
But yeah, you just can't reason with him, it seems. He's gone off and terrorized the Sega forums about this, making a big deal out of nothing.
Sorry for the text wall, but at least thank you for taking the time to reply to me.

That is indeed true. Online petitions never work, he did say that it was going to be faxed to Sega, so there might be some dim hope that it'll work this time. It doesn't make me any less skeptical about the game itself, but it would be a nice touch to be able to play as classic Sonic seeing as it's going to use a retro art style.
It really sucks that your comments got flagged as spam just because you gave your opinion, but he is very opinionated. I'd say that you should just not comment--or at least sugarcoat said comments--but since you got blocked (which wasn't really called for) that's not an issue anymore.

Let's see if he can fax it to Sega without showing off any elitism and using insults to get his point across. Even so, I don't know if it has a chance, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sega was already planning to toss in classic Sonic as a bonus in the first place ( A lot of games have done it already, so why not? )
I too wouldn't mind playing as classic Sonic, however. Gives some sense of replayability.
I don't sugarcoat comments when I don't think people deserve them. If anything, what he did only shows that he needs to mature up and accept that other people aren't always going to agree with him.
Sorry if you have any acquaintance with him, and don't like to see me complaining about him, it's none of my business, but I felt it was called for with the topic at hand.
