have you heard of patreon. its some sort of E-Tipping service in which people give you dollars instead of llamas for your hard work.
its a much more efficient than waiting weeks for someone to commission you.
I already have an account set up. a pledge of a dollar a day is all I ask for. I need to make a living somehow right and this will keep me self employed.

haha it's pretty easy to keep track of here, especially since we use the metric system for the most part.
Also the pound is stronger than the dollar. I believe right now Β£1 is equal to $1.6 so the pound is a little over half a dollar more valuable. I believe the strength of the pound is why we never changed to the Euro, since it would mean our money wouldn't be as good

Well I don't know about mentor haha. I like to help other artists out but financially I can't offer you anything. I'm struggling by myself, and I just released my first comic book so I'm trying to promote that.
I would suggest that you lower your asking price. A dollar a day is a huge amount of money to ask of someone. To put this in perspective, Netflix offers thousands of films instantly and they ask for Β£3 a month.
I would focus first on building up a good reputation and a name for yourself, that way people would be more willing to donate.

I did lower it. 25 cents a day. but yeah that's still too high so 5 cents a day would be better starting price. that's only 1.55 a month. im going to change my asking price right now.

Can you change it to a monthly donation instead of daily? That way any potential donors get a better idea of what they're giving you. Maybe set up rewards for different donation amounts.Β
