Well...it's just a number anyway, the important thing isn't how old we are but how old we act!(i think this idea came from a quote i read before, but i'm not sure...)For example my grandmother, she is 59 years old, but she has dyed her hair to blond(as i remember last year her hair was dyed reddish orange?), she always wears colorful necklaces and earrings and she is very very energetic and lively(i'm serious)...We have lots of fun together, i wish i had her eye color too,it's an amazing light blue tone and near the pupil there's some green and a little bit brown...and my eye color is nearly the color you would say black,a very dark brown, for noticing my pupil you need to look very closely and attentive...
>>Well, i guess,i forgot what i was talking about? -.-'

sounds like a cool person.
though id say my eyes a grey colour with a hint of green.
same here, can't remember. but it looks like my art and writing will be taking a hit, my mom keeps pushing me to take this full time spot where we work, and i just dont want to. which i have told her again and again.
i like working weekends, and having flexible hours. and if i take it i wont be able to sell the xmas tree's when they come in.

>>>I think i have told you about the tradition of my hs(something like fraternity)...Now we(me and my term:147)have a little term(148)...But the administrative of school is trying to keep them far from us and were telling them that a system like fraternity is a lie and that we are trying to deceive them? But well they didn't believe them... They are our cute-little little terms (well some of them are taller and look like they are bigger than me, but i don't care~)

Sounds like a lot of stuff that would bore anyone, that's what i translate 'a lot of things' as, just something that would bore me. LOL.
The best kind of teacher, the funny ones, because you'll always remember what you actually learnt, which for me wasnt much sometimes, like my history teacher who spent a whole hour talking about stuff.
Anyway good to hear from you, my mother has finally let up about the job, it helped that i helped pay for her car repairs which cost like 400 pounds. Oh and the evil eye stuff looks like a good thing. I have a talisman to ward off bad luck, sadly the way to do it is that every year it has to be 'recharged' at the place where i brought it but it was over in Japan, bit hard to do that every year.

TheBrc147 In reply to Steins-brother [2011-10-02 19:20:46 +0000 UTC]
>>Recharged? With what? I don't know about them too much -.-' (Since you say you brought it from Japan, is it an "omamori?")
>>>Yesterday my little brother made a coke can explode in the middle of my room, guess what? The floor, my rugs, walls, my bunk bed and the ceiling(!)...And i had to wipe them, well actually i'm happy that it didn't splatted to my desk, that would be the worst thing...
>>>>Well i started learning Italian and latin, i started to think that Italian accent is more intresting than french accent... I like the way to say "r" in Italian... But i like talking french, butΒ now i'm very used to it and so... learning Italian is very intresting...Talking french is diffrent because, the way of reading the letters is very diffrent from Turkish ("eu" in turkish is "ΓΆ","Γ©" in tr is "e", etc...), well i like talking english it's not diffucult as talking french, but i actually want to learn British accent, that would be intresting... The way i talk english is neither British or American accent i think... But more like American accent, or just accentless(?) i don't know -.-'...(But people tells me that i talk english very well )Anyway i like british accent better

well thats the best way i could think of it. It's done by the shrine keeper or shrine maidens.
I think i would of dived to protect my laptop. I dunno what i would do if someone sprayed coke all over my walls etc.
I think you are smarter from me for learning all those languages.
But for a little information, there are techinically two British accents, the sterotypical posh one and the normal one.
As for how i am? Hot. Very Hot. It's very very hot down here. I feel sorry for my dog with his fur coat lol

>> Well i'm really happy that it didn't splatted to my desk, because everything on it, are new (except the printer), my laptop was kind-of-broken and wasn't working-like-how-it-supposed-to, so now i have a new one, it's a very very nice one... Also the monitor and the MacMini are very usefull for- you know drawing and etc... Actaualy i didn't know there was google chrome for mac...But they were safe, because my room's "L" shaped so it didn't splatted to that section of the room... π: 0 β©: 1
>>The weather here, in Istanbul is very changeful... The morning it's cold, than it's hot and in the evening cold again... I can't say i'm very about that... Because i think, i may become ill because of suddden-weather changes, they say that next week it's going to rain...
>>I'm a science-mathematics student, but i need to do presantations for the "Language and Narration"(Turkish) lesson, the "literature" lesson and the "geography" lesson, very logical isn't it?
>>What's the difference between the accents? I didn't know there was two types... Is the steotypical posh one is like "older" and the normal one is like more "Modern" and "new"? For example there is a lot of Turkish accents, the one i speak is the "Istanbul Turkish", we call it like that, well it's what you call an accentless Turkish because it's the normal, modern and new Turkish...It's the accent we use for writing and etc... The other accents has also different words in them and the way of talking is different... It's very intresting to listen a foreigner talking Turkish, because some of them talk very very well and some of them talk with their own accents so it's very intresting and i feel very happy inside, and a smile appears on my face And sometimes i wonder, what people think when i'm English or French... Also, i want to ask you something, what do you think of Turkish (i'm just curious), how does it sound like? I think English is a vey nice language, the grammar is easy if you compare with Turkish... And it sounds very nice and very different (sorry, i couldn't find any adjective(words) to describe it...)... The summary: I like talking in English...Also in french, but now i like Italian accent better (maybe it's a new thing for me because i've been learning french and english for years(well i'm improving them right now)..)
>>Wow, i wrote too much-again-...So i'm fine right now (i hope i won't get ill) and how are you? What are you doing? etc etc...(or how we say in Turkish "vesaire vesaire(i think how you would read is like"v-e(you read "e" like you read in "
Steins-brother In reply to TheBrc147 [2011-10-09 17:41:32 +0000 UTC]
Well the posh accent is like you see in old war films and sounds really posh. Chillian accent is nice, but i like the Japanese accent as well but thats just me.
Glad to hear your doing well though with French and English.
But there are a lot of different accents i like, some are american.
THats weird cos i used to have an L shaped room in my old house, then i go a really small room before i've moved into my large room now.
Trying to learn Russian and Japanese myself.
The weather over here is just as bad, boiling hot the last few days then suddenly dropped and was freezing, i had to wear two shirts and my fleece just to take the dog out.

But i want to learn German by myself, after learning Italian Then i want to learn Japanese, but it's alphabet is very hard so... it's going to be a little hard t learn by myself but i'm going to try to learn it... I also want to learn Spanish and the Quebec accent, it seems very intresting...
>>Here, it's like that too, last week ,t was freezing and i even tough it was doing to snow, but the week-end and today wasn't cold, and they say it's going to rain tomorrow...

the japanese alphabet is hard, cos there's three different ones in think (hiragana, katakana and kanji) though first two are easier to grasp.
you really like languages dont you lol.

Hello~~ How are you?
>> My exam week(s) started again... One exam done, 12 exam left!(12 exams in 6 days-this week:5,the other week 7 exams...)
>> The earthquake didn't affect Δ°stanbul, but the weather of Van is very cold and snowy right now(as i know a lot of them has migrated to another city, but still...).
>>Now the Armenian subject is back again...(what a suprise that it's before the France's elections...)I don't think it neither helps or improves the relations of Armenia and Turkey... The other intresting fact is that they are blocking the freedom of thought of their own people... The first time i saw the news, i actually tought it was a joke...politics
>>Our subject at french are about literature and etc... In our french exam we hasd to analyse a painture baroque and also one of our grammar subject was "passΓ© simple" a very literatural tense that is only used in very literatural writings... Actuallly baroque is very interesting, but a lot of things are about dying and the time... The poet was menacing the girl by saying that she was going to become uglier when she gets older and going to die alone, without being remembered, but if she accepts his love and loves him, she was going to be remembered by the verses he wrote...
>>Also i think that Δ°talian resembles latin more than french, the grammar is nearly the same...
>>Also happy new year (I'll have to finish here...I need to study )

was a bit ill over xmas but back to normal now, got a new phone finally as well, six years of using an old one.
thats a lot of exams isn't it? well good luck with them
politics are a joke anyway, it's just a bunch of people who try and tell the biggest lie (over here it is anyway)
i'm so glad i never tried french my brain has melted reading that lol.
and i think your right about italian looking more like latin, though saying that the Romans used latin so that would make sense that Italian is closer.

>>Congratulations(or should i say "May it go well" or "May it's usefull to you" kind of thing? I don't know how you use that expression, in Turkish we say "Güle güle kullan"(word to word tranlation of it is "use it by laughing"kind of thing(by laughing we mean "happily" by the way)) so i would be happy to know what do you use to exress this kind of wish...(we have a habit to use a lot of wish expressions, for example to wish someone ill to get better we say "GeçmiŠolsun"(i think it's "may your ilness be gone"?), then we say someone getting out of shower or bath(also to people who had a haircut (generally to males)) "sıhhatler olsun"(in the meaning of "may you be healty")...so do you have these kind of expressions? I would like to learn them Our french teacher said there wasn't these kind of wishes in french so i was wondering if there is in English... ))...oh and i was congradulating you about your new phone but it seems like i just changed the subject with the giant paranthese and i'm happy to hear you're fine
>>Also Happy Belated Christmas (even tought i'm not Christian i think it's good to respect other people's opinions and ideas and etc etc...i think i shouldn't extend this paranthese too, since i'm not going to be able to stop writing and to stop explaining all my toughts...)
>>Finally my exams are finished, the semester is going to be finished this week and it's snowing right now... Also now i can watch some dramas and etc...(starting from this week-end...) I remembered an ancient tv serie that i used to watch when i was little "YabancΔ± Damat"(The Foreign Groom- i used to watch it 8 years ago, now i really enjoy to watch it again(i have forgotten a lot of episodes)), it's about a Turkish girl and a Greek guy, fallling in love and then the contuniation...([link] ; [link] )and a Korean drama
>>I think i found the general logic of French people... The other day(last week) our French teacher said "when i can do something in a difficult way why should i do it in an easy way" but this is very opposite logic of ours, our logic in this kind of situation is "When i can do something in an easy way, why should i do it in a difficult way" right? When i can touch my right ear with my right hand why should i touch it with my left hand? Another example the -easy way 2*5=10 -the difficult(long) way: 2*5=2+2+2+2+2 <=> 2*5=10 (...so this is the summary of what i have to do on my exam paper... :/ )
>>So how are you?
