Yes some are featured on Paperkraft.net but unfortunately it's my "old" stuff XD I had the chance to be "discovered" by Ninjatoes himself just after I opened my DeviantArt so it helped me a lot at this time (when I think the first papercraft I built 6 years and a half ago was a Ninjatoes's papercraft, this guy is my God XD ), anyway now I am on almost every papercraft groups I hope that it will permit me to begin to have a name in the papercraft world !!

Hahaha it's still nice to have old stuff featured somewhere I'm pretty sure you'll get known really soon, just like destro2k, or loonewolf! or even as known as ninjatoes himself! I like his works and he's a pretty cool guy.
I myself think your builds are pretty clean, and that's going to get you more attention from people n_n

Yeah Ninjatoes is a great guy and his work is really great too !!
Your work is really good too !! I like to see what other Papercraft designers are making, Papercraft is not something really known but it always amaze me how much papercrafters are creatives and put passion into it (except some who just click on "unfold" in Pepakura designer and absolutely nothing else and upload their "papercrafts" on internet, it really pisses me of when I see people doing this kind of things ! )

Hahaha that's true! but sometimes when someone else puts attention to your works, you get more motivated to continue doing it although just doing what you like is always the best path, with or without public or followers c:
He is kind of an inspiration to me, but I know I'll never get to his level, so I just try to make my stuff look good to me, it doesn't really matter if someone else doesn't like it, as long as I think it's cool, I'll just post it here xD
Thanks! actually most people complain about my models not having textures and stuff... but I'm glad you like them! and Indeed, papercraft requires a lot of creativity and passion! I don't really like them either, but well, some people just like those kind of models. A papercraft with every single detail of the character... but usually those kind of papercrafts are extremely difficult to build. I'd rather make something simple but good looking c:

Yeah I completely agree with you !
Yes, he inspires me too, like I said before, I began papercraft with one of his models, and he featured my blog on his website so.... I really owe him a lot ! And the Ninjatoes Level is something we can't reach 'cause we all have our own styles, and I also made my models so they look good to me, when I design my models I'm always like "Hmmmm how would I build this model, where would I begin the building of the model ? The head ? The feet ? The tail ?" and I also try to place each and every flaps to make the building of the model as "papercrafter friendly" as possible, at least as "hellsword friendly" as possible !
Personally I never build a model without textures but I don't see where is the problem, in fact a model without texture let you have a completely unique model, well each and every papercrafts are already unique because no one build their papercrafts the same way, but I think painting them ourselves can be really cool, and printer friendly XD
I wasn't speaking about the insanely detailed models, but about this kind of "papercrafts" : www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/gallery/pdata/P983.pdo , for me, this is just a real insult to papercraft and impossible to build, at least it's not a locked PDO but the 3D model used is not papercraftable and I know it I have the exact same 3D model and I'm working on it for a future papercraft)  !
When I do my papercraft I try to keep as much details as I can because I know absolutely nothing about 3D (shame on me) so I improvise to try to make the 3D models as papercraftable as possible (I worked a lot on the 3D model of the Papercraft i'm actually working on !)

And without enthusiasm, Papercraft would not have been a passion for me, Papercraft is something which made me realise that I can actually do something absolutely awesome with my hands and share it to the whole world, and well... That's just fantastic !! And sharing is exactly what I love the most about Papercraft, we all work really hard on our models, and we gave them without asking money in exchange, and that's something I really admire !!

Hahaha you speak true words man, I was literally just nodding while reading your words and...and just thinking "yes" Each style a designer has is good in it's own way c: and yes! I think every single designer makes their papercrafts the way they feel more comfortable with,and also a way other people can feel good doing them too!

The problem is that my models don't have "cool" looking textures, I mean it's painted on the 3D program, so it only has plain color over the model. I feel comfortable with it, but being comfortable was never my thing, I always need to keep moving, and trying things out, so I'll probably start moving on to making textures more good looking when I get bored of the plain color... but that'll take a while xD

Oh yes...THOSE kind of models...it hurts my eyes to look at that... I almost did an unfold undo and make it clean, anyway, those kind of people just never put any effort into anything, I mean, they couldn't even unfold it for a higher height than 10cm, Who in their right mind can make something so small?! They usually just stop after a few unfolds... and after all, if they couldn't put enough effort into it, then someone else can! and the people that actually put effort into it will get more praise and knowledge. Some people just don't know how to unfold, or design papercrafts, and for them a clean pdo is crucial, because otherwise they can't do the model.

Detail is not that bad c: maybe a bit more difficult, but not bad at all! I'd definitely add more detail to my models (if I wasn't lazy) and yes, the fact that most papercraft (if not all) are free, it's a BIG advantage, and we're all learning from each other, if only other kinds of crafts and techniques were free for all like papercraft it would be awesome!

Héhé I'm glad to know we think the same !! The only problem are the papercrafters who think their models are the best and those who think their building techniques are the best... I've been part of the french papercraft community forum and well, they don't say they are gods but that's not far from it (I can give names but I'll not XD) and they forget that once upon a time, they were beginners, and when I tried to post a topic about building papercrafts without using a ton of materials, only scisors, fingers and toothpick (it's how I always build my models, even the trickiest) for the beginners, it quickly went out of control and it became a topic about "don't listen what Hellsword is saying, his techniques sucks mine are better, you see I use tweezers and magnifying glass" and this behaviour really piss me off !! But well, not all the papercrafters are like this and that's a good thing ! Imagine if money was involved, the papercraft world would be really screwed by those kind of people !

Well you know, "cool" looking textures or not, that's not the most important, as long as you don't create textures which seems to vomit on each other with pixels as big as a fist, everyhting is fine right ? XD and that's your style, trying to improve it is normal and I really respect it ! Take your time and create awesome textures in the future *o*

Yeah, THOSE kind of models, and today I had one of the biggest disappointment ever... One of this kind of "papercrafters" made his way on the papercraft corner deviantart group... I already posted a comment on one of this guy's "papercraft" some days ago because I was really pissed off to see such a thing called "papercraft" and the worse with it, is that he is proud of him he thinks that he do something awesome !! There are no efforts, no work, it's just a complete mess without any soul ! And you're right, in the end those people doesn't get knowledge or praises, but they still are like a pustule in the middle of a face XD And unfold a 3D model is not that difficult, it needs work and patience but anybody can do it, Pepakura is really simple to use !

I totally agree with you, if more things were following the path of papercraft, it would be really great !!
