It's still here. When I get artist's block on one piece, I start up something quick and new to get going again. I'll be trying to finish up the line art today but the original sketch was pretty bad, it needs a lot of work.

Thank you, Madam! I figured it was easier to keep an eye out for each other's art that way. Because I can't wait for you to finish that work of Aukai and your Mer character. Also, you being a sheer genius by creating a Manticore character. I. Love. Manticores.
In fact, I completely forgot that I kept up my end of the deal of drawing Namid, so now Daemon should be giving me the info on Syracuse to doodle him. I had a really awesome drawing of a [female] Manticore in one of my old sketchbooks, but unfortunately, I had the sketchbook on my person one day, and for some reason, here in Texas we had a storm of massive proportions [that created flash-floods] and the sketch was ruined from getting wet. Luckily, I only had a few doodles inside of it. Including a doodle my friend made of a 'platycore.' A platypus-manticore. It was the silliest thing I had ever seen.
But, yes. Dae was discussing Namid's character with me a bit more, and I realized that while the first doodle I did of him was alright and all, it didn't really capture his character like I wanted it to. Really, the main inspiration I had was when Daemon told me the 'Hell hath no Fury' quote about the dancer. That, and creating a character who would be one Hell of an agonizing tease to be around for ten years.

Ah. Sometimes I start things and then I just kind of drop them. I've gotten rather bored of that one, I think I'm going to end up leaving it as is. I'll probably start another one with them.
And lol. Thanks. I don't know what possessed me to make him a manticore. I absolutely love mythology, so I suppose that one sparked my interest at the time. I'm having a lot of fun with him. But that's awesome that you want to do a picture of him. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. I can't wait to see it.

Aw. Well, please do another picture soon. I'd love to try and draw them together, or Happh by himself. I love your designs of things, and I've always loved seeing different renditions of the same thing, just to see the different styles of art that exist.
I'll definitely be inquiring more about Syracuse, after I finish some of the art I promised elsewhere. I'm a horrible procrastinator at times, and one of the pictures is Halloween-themed. -sigh- I need to get to work on that, but there's just so many people in the picture. Dx
