Besides, I wanted to try something new..don't get me wrong, Rachel and Joker is a good pairing and all

Jamie origanilly came from my Darkness series, she was immortal in that one. ( I haven't like going back and correcting all three book series I worked on )

I wanted to make Jamie a investigator and put the rebel into good old Gotham City, make the story line with Joker good
