Thanks And I want to go on in Astronomy. Not 100% sure yet what direction yet, but instrumentation seems awesome. (developing tools for telescopes to make them better, and thinking of new ways to observe the stars.)

That sounds like an awesome job- I dream of one day being able to see the surfaces of the Keplar planets

Seeing the planets is extremely hard, we've only directly seen about 7, and they were miniscule specs on the pic. Most are found via other methods which do not directly see them, but for instance look at the brightness of the star (which gows down by ~ 0.1% when the planet moves infront of it.)
Astronomers are busy with indirectly measuring the atmosphere though
