You've got some pretty sweet stuff here - how long have you been into prop making?

It's been a few years. It started with me making something that i wanted to have but didn't exist in tangible form

What would you suggest for a noob? I was going to start with fiberglass resin for a Master Chief helmet, but I don't have much knowledge other than how to build the papercraft part.

as far as an amateur project goes...If you want to try your hand at something and don't want to spend a lot of money i would go with Papercraft/ foam armor. You can make some amazing things out of craft foam/ EVA foam. I made a Companion cube (Not posted) out of EVA foam in a short amount of time for PAX East and got many compliments.
