Girl, I hope your drawings about E. V. Tooms is not just a phase in your life, because they really are good!
How pleasant like some character whose most people dislike/unknown and find some awesome fanart! *---*

Thanks for the f! I drew the map to keep track of things and to generate plot lines for new stories... while there are a couple of inconsistencies between the stories and the groundplan, I guess these could be explained by the Zoo being a dynamic thing, a growing and changing entity. Still haven't found a place to fit alligators and crocodiles and caimans, though...

Oh it's the way that he goes and touch you
You feel your body start to shiver and splinter
You hate the women that came before you
You'll kill the women that come right after
And now he's got you wrapped around his finger
PsychoTed!fic??

although in my head it'd have to be "men"
because headcanon!Stratford doesn't have any use for the ladies besides target practice
which is a super creepy way to phrase "in my head he's probably gay" but I guess that's appropriate
(I don't really know why beyond the existence of my Terrible, Wrong Ship...and I guess the fact that out of a hell of a lot of similar psycho villains, it'd be weird if nobody was?)

Hahaha... target practice. Should not find so funny. Nebulous... other people, then?

Song says ladies, you say men. I see him as more of an equal-opportunity offender.

Ah. Well, I was originally figuring he wouldn't be too picky in that regard...but then I realized that I really want to make every unspecified character in everything bisexual. THAT'S JUST WHAT'S 'NORMAL' FOR ME OKAY

candyexorcist In reply to TMOH [2012-04-16 21:21:45 +0000 UTC]
Makes sense to me. I tend to leave most of my characters sort of unspecified unless it's actually important, or someone asks.

I dearly hope you're not actually planning to use that Drakhenians drawing you favorited for reference or anything. I'm happy to see you did fave it, but I'm rather ashamed of the picture itself

Oh, no! I know it's not really on-model for any of the characters anymore; I just really, really liked all their clothes in it.

candyexorcist In reply to TMOH [2011-09-30 15:15:47 +0000 UTC]
... really? Thanks! Well, Geier's clothes haven't changed much since I first started drawing them; he looks the same...

Heyhey, thanks for the fave, 'Random Carcer Short Stories' though, I would like to ask, what did you like about it anyway?
π: 0 β©: 1
TMOH In reply to aPelican [2011-09-29 15:27:28 +0000 UTC]
Oh, geez...it's sort of hard to articulate, really, which is why I never got round to commenting.... Basically I just think your take on Carcer is really interesting--it's so different from how everybody else writes him, but somehow it still works--and I really liked the "Cops and Robbers" theme in the first two.

aPelican In reply to TMOH [2011-10-01 06:32:30 +0000 UTC]
Well, it's real nice to be appreciated.
The first time I read about him I was like "this guy has a mental problem" and had always wondered what went around in his head. And I figured "well it better be damned well more interesting that just 'psychopathic tendencies'." Since then I've been coming up with explanations that fit in with all the behaviour. And all my explanations seem to tie in with one another at some point, so I've gotta be doin' something right.
But i'm still playing around with ideas, nothing's set in stone.

Seeing as I still haven't gone to the library and picked up a historical reference book yet, could you help me with this one question? Do you know if it would be incredibly unusual for a civilian rich guy to wear epaulette's in the 19th century? Or is such a thing a blaring historical error?
