Haven't used mine in two. But I think that, generally, once you've gotten the hang of it or you remember the motions that it comes back pretty quick.

Yeah My wrist is aching like crazy now but the image is cleaned and the base colors are down, I hate being so slow but I guess it'll pick up once I get the hang of it again hehe.

Aw thanks, not sure I've ever inspired anyone to that degree before!

And well, I spend a lot of time doing line arts, that's usually the hardest part imo and takes the longest, I don't know how some people can draw stuff full color etc in like, an hour o_o Takes me at least 2-3 just to come up with posing and sketch it out until I'm happy, let alone ink

Yeah, lineart is killer. I use openCanvas to do mine cause I cannot for the life of me get it to work in Photoshop. So it's like... redrawing my picture all over again cause I'm a bit sketchy when I do lineart. And colouring takes me forever too, usually cause I forget how I coloured the previous digital picture I did so I spend a bunch of time trying to figure it out. XD

I've never used any other program except photoshop and illustrator for my drawings, which I don't generally pander around with a lot. I want to try some others though to get that painterly effect, it looks so pretty when it's pulled off just right
I forget stuff a lot too, end up always having about 6 images open at once lol XD

My best friend introduced me to openCanvas and I've tinkered with one and three, but lost three when I had to get a new computer, as well as the registration key, which kind of sucks. And I have old school PS 7 because I'm too cheap to buy into CS XD. But I looooove the painted effect as well. I used to have Painter but was atrociously bad using it. I might one day look into getting OC4 though.

I had paint shop pro a long time back but I was terrible with it as well
I'll have to look into OC at some point, a friend recommended PaintTool Sai as well but it's pretty hard to get hold of, or so he said anyway
