Thank you!!! Greatly appreciated! And sorry for the late response - it's been a bit since I've been on dA. I cycle between programming, writing and 3d modeling/artwork... Right now I'm back in the writing portion of that cycle, and there isn't much place for novels on dA, I feel.

Yah, portraits are hard, but, guess it's kinda important to learn, so been trying to do them as much as possible XD

(was hoping to be a graphic illustrator/comic book artist in the future, so better start practicing now hah)

I work mainly with 3d modeling, and I have yet to manage to produce a passable face. lol   You're off to a pretty good start, though. If you ever need something modeled quick (not sure how you would, but just in case), shoot me a message. I enjoy collaborating with people, and I could use the practice anyway.

Noooo, faces in 3d are very difficult - at least for me. Part of making faces in 3d is making it so you can pose them with different expressions, which means you have to get the mesh right so you can (for example) move the corners of the mouth without things looking really bizarre... Not to mention I'm not all that good with organics yet. The rose is the first passable organic thing I've created.

Collaborating can be fun, mainly because you can accomplish more on a team than you can solo. Sometimes there are differences of opinion. XD
