Thank you for favouring Something Roy Batty Might Have Seen. My own skills with the airbrush or 3-D rendering software are close to non existent so I'm not up to illustrating 'C-beams flickering at the Gates of Orion' or scenes like that. But Philip K. Dick wasn't about scenes like that. They weren't in the book, or not as a major part of it. Dick wrote about the ordinary man in crisis, trying to decide what's real and what isn't, who is human and who is not, often during or after some apocalyptic change in circumstances.
What Roy Batty might have seen is a luminous space boot about to stomp him in the face. This is a solarised, inverted 'trainer' print stamped onto a wall somewhere.
