# About me

I am Bonnie Lee, one of 4 artisans represented by TheFamiLeeJewels. I am a long time a painter and decorative artist who has discovered a new creative outlet in the art of wire sculpture, and an excuse for one of my favorite pastimes bargain shopping at antique stores, salvage yards and garage sales. Combining wire, gemstones, found and recycled objects with antique and vintage hardware I sculpt a focal piece and then secure it to findings to create wearable art. I use wire wrapping, chain maille, rivets and other ancient cold connection techniques to assemble my jewelry.
My favorite teachers and those whose work inspire me are Preston Reuther, Connie Fox, Eni Oken, Sharilyn Miller, and Dylon White.
