So long, Astoria. I found a map to buried treasure, and even if we come home empty handed; we'll still have our stories of battlecars, pirate ships and wounded hearts, broken bones and all the best of frienships, and hen this hourglass has flitered out is final grains of sand i'll raise my glass to the memories we had.

Sorry, i saw the line under your profile name (top left) and had to write it. Im a massive fan of 'The Ataris' and am proud to say they are one of the first bands i ever listened to, the prelude to all the music i listen to now.=]

jolly good! ive got "so long, astoria" tattooed on my ribs, its an album that speaks a lot about some of the very special times in my life. youre probably the first person who has noticed what its about! i feel very lucky that i got to meet kris roe at an acoustic show he did and get him to sign my copy of the album, it was about a week before i got the tattoo, he was very excited about it and gave me his email address and asked me to send him a picture when it was done so he could put it on the bands myspace page with the rest of the fan tattoos. hes an incredibly nice man!

i just got the words "so long, astoria" on my ribs, i dont think theres a picture on here, but ive had more in teh same place since which i might put on here at some point. yeah, it is on their myspace somewhere.. [link] it was taken literally less than 5 minutes after it was finished so its all puffy. but its looking pretty sweet these days!
