Oh I did not know musikantenstadl clasified as music, I associated it more with things like war crimes. Country on the other hand is proven to inhibit th intellectual capacity of any who hear it. That is why america has the stupidest political leader in the whole world. There is not even a monarch that stupid. I believe the cia use it in guantanamo too.

Gut, dass kann ich definitiv nicht mehr in englisch beantworten... Natürlich ist "Musikantenstadl" kein Musikstil, ich meinte damit volkstümliche Musik. Volkstümlich ist nur leider etwas ganz anderes als Volksmusik. Volksmusik hat die Jahrhunderte überlebt und ist Teil der Geschichte (Seele?) eines Landes so, wie die Landschaften, die typische Architektur, die Dialekte. Volkstümliche Musik ist, ja, was eigentlich? Ein Mix aus Schlager und Elementen der Volksmusik, an heutige Hörgewohnheiten angepasst und im besten Falle grenzenlos harmlos und einfältig (was natürlich auch für mache Rock-/Popmusik zutrifft). Und die CIA foltert, indem sie mit Country-Musik beschallt? So, wie in dem Billy-Wilder-Film "1-2-3"?

Migration ;) (Wink) ... I think I will stay with more than one citizenship. To be honest I think DA is too slow to use it more than once a day - posting and browsing here is hard sometimes (I have a feeling as if I still use my old 56K modem...) and able to drive me mad, because I miss a lot of great art that way.

Although I'm not so comic-addicted (there's not so much left to my personal fantasy like in common literature) I must confess that I like Franquin's stuff the most, maybe because of the mix of childlike fantasy, anarchic humor and that sharp look for the funny things in all of use, may it be how someone walks, looks or behaves.
