Pick a starter!
Chirpie
Grass/Flying starter that's fond of resting on heads and shoulders. It loves picking in the leaves, and loves eating small fruit. It's final evolution is the majestic Sanceautan, which has a large flower on its rear, and colorful wings.
Wombab
Fire/Ground starter that adores being cuddled just as much as digging. It wags it's tail almost all the time! It's final evolution is Myfarmot, which uses it's large, retractable wings to blow loose chunks of the ground at it's foes. It also tends to hunt pokemon for game, but only goes as far as defeating them.
Pepond
Water/Ice starter that can't help but spalsh in the water with it's flippers! It's a penguin turtle and gains serious shell weight upon evolution. It's final evolution, Tortemparc, is almost taller than Golurk, but weighs almost twice what Groudon does! It has an extremely strong body to support such weight if only 812 pounds of it's weight is it's body.

Well, clearly you do. XD I find it just takes practice, trial and error, and lots of references to get it down. And lots of messing around. :D It's super fun though. I just got used to drawin cute/happy things for work and groups and such, and kind of went away from the gore for a bit, so I'm out of practice now. XD;

I find a lot of people have that issue, but once you get past that, it's not a big deal. Though I do know some people that just can't stomach it, but I guess that's going to happen.

Yeaaah. There's still a few things I can't look at (anything with eyes or mutliated fingers/hands) But I have no problem drawing it, so I just draw things like that without a reference.

Understandable. Drawing it and seeing actual photos are two very different things, haha. I've gotten pretty desensitized to most things by now, but I understand that completely. As long as you like drawing it, it works!
