# About me
I'm an average joe shmoe that enjoys writing commics, stories, and poetryAs a child I always thought up of stories and characters that I would share with others and entertain for hours. At the tender age of one I was told that I was able to emulate works of cartography from my uncle and was rewarded a dollar and a smile. At age five, I took a new turn as I started to draw characters that I made up and also ones that I saw on television.
At eight I started dabbling into the comic world. I enjoyed drawing one-page short stories that I would come up with on my own. I went on to produce about a hundred short-story comics by the time I was nine. My inspiration drew from Walt Disney and my visit to his studio. There I observed an animator draw Mickey Mouse in mere seconds; this greatly inspired me to strive on with this talent and to take on new goals.
My goal went from being an animator to a graphic novelist when I encountered the works of Akira Toryiama, the author of the world renowned Dragon Ball. At the age of twelve, I continued drawing comics for kids in school and entertained them with short stories and thirty-page comics all throughout middle school and high school. My dream of becoming a graphic novelist continues to be inspired and influenced by Aaron McGruder (author of Boondocks), Eiichiro Oda (author of Japanese manga One Piece), and Stan Lee & Steve Ditko (creators of Spider Man). All in all I have allowed their accomplishments and failures to fuel my desire in continuing with graphic novels and cartooning. They were able to be the directors, writers, cast directors, cameramen, and everything else in one shot without spending too much, and that was the magic of graphic novels.
I continue to try and create works of art that entertain many, and hopefully my childish view of this world will allow me to come up with stories from my almost endless reservoir of imagination.
I believe my experience of living in Morocco, Haiti, and traveling to Canada and Spain will allow me to better round out my world and help create emotions and diversity in my artwork. In my spare time I also indulge in works of poetry which stem from my life experiences and storytelling hobby. I really do hope all will continue to be entertained by my stories and find an innocence and sense of imagination that they will love to visit again and again:)
