since were in start up, we pay each artist the same percentage on every issue sold, it may not be much, but it's something.

Depends... first I need a full book to actually go through the process of publishing, right? (simply a script with 4 out-of-order pages linework doesn't seem to be enough at the moment.)

well, you would at least need the rough draft for your first issue, at most 40 pages, so if you have a rough draft by the end of june, we can start the process to get you in issue 3, if your really feeling motivated you can turn it in by the 13 of june and shoot for issue 2.
but basically all you would need is a rough draft, or name, to start getting published. but that beats needing the whole book eh?

Wait a moment. I have a question... By "Comics," do you mean to just say american-style comics, or just comics in general. The later includes all forms such as Manga and the like.
Also, have you gotten much interest since you startd up? And do you have a website of your own?

I would imagine that would be relative, We do have about six talented artists contributing to Retrograde right now, but we haven't actually launched the magazine yet, issue one comes out in september, I imagine the popularty of the magazine will rise a little then, if not were in trouble,
As for a website, It will not be up until late july early august, closer to the launch date.

Hya ha ha. Thank you for the reply! I will definitly try and find a copy once it is published, be sure of that. Then you just have to go out and advertise like crazy. Hya ha ha.
But I suppose it's never too late to send in your ideas and such, is it? I wouldn't think so. Oh but then again, if I did do that I'd be sending in as just a writer. It's real hard to find those types of publishing companies! Gah. Because of this, i hope you end up making it big. Well, that's ot the only reason, but still!
And once it is published, how many times a year do you think it will come out?
