Hi! I'm fine thanks, though I haven't visited deviantArt for ages! Perhaps I'll try to look through some of the deviations I've missed and upload more of my creations after a while
I've been busy with school and juggling , mostly.
Then, how about you?

I am well.
I would love to see your recent artwork.
But, I know you are probably much busier now.
Maybe you could put some of your juggling on YouTube for all to see.
(like the Galchenkos )

Tusen takk!
Vel, fargene var litt sånn spesielle fra før, pga. lyset, men tror jeg brukte noe filter på selve bildet, slik at det ble veldig markerte fargeskiller, og så satt jeg det laget på colour. Noe sånt

Hi Erlend,
How are you?
I am usually on SecondLife any more. I will take a closer look at your submissions as soon as I can.
I haven't forgotten you

StarTyger In reply to Typaer [2007-09-01 04:52:28 +0000 UTC]
I might put some up soon since I scanned many for use in SecondLife. I just opened a big gallery there. But, unlike dART, it's a gallery you can walk through. It's why I have neglected keeping up with dART submissions for such a long time.
I'll get something new online before long.

Okey. What exactly is SecondLife, by the way. I don't think I've heard of it before...

Ah...it's a virtual world...
SecondLife [link]
It is not actually a game.
Many find it too slow moving for their tastes.
But, it is fun to make your own avatar and to build things.
It can take some time to get used to it.
Check out the website.
If you decide to try it,
I think you will have to go on the Teen Grid until you are 18.

Okei... I think I'll stay away from it anyways, then, because it will probably suck up too much of my time

StarTyger In reply to Typaer [2007-09-05 04:23:51 +0000 UTC]
Yes...that is a possibility.
If you like Instant Messaging,
Second Life takes it to a new level and beyond.
But, if you like fast action,
lots of sound effects of the explosive variety,
then Second Life would seem very dull.

Hi! No, actually, I haven’t been sewing for a while now. In fact, I rarely sew. Last time I sewed was when I sewed “Vinter ved Sognefjorden”. But in a week’s time, we are beginning on a new project at school, where we will redesign clothes!

Thanks for the fav on the cj pic
What sorts of things have you tried with cj? Bodyrolling, isolationism, butterfly/transfer classicism, palmspinning? I noticed you have an acrylic in your avatar... just curious to see what you like to do with it
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Typaer In reply to Theriona [2006-09-23 10:30:39 +0000 UTC]
Your welcome
I do butterfly/transfer and variations of it, isolationism, a little bodyrolling (I can roll it up and down my forearm well, and quite well on the underarm (or whatever you call the opposite way of the forearm ) I've started trying to learn the chest roll now, which I'm really looking forward to master ) I do some palmspinning. For the moment, I'm trying to learn three acrylics in one hand.
It mostly ends up with me doing butterfly/transfers/variations solations and armrolls, since that's the stuff I'm most safe with
What do you do, then? Are you good with more than one acrylic?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Theriona In reply to Typaer [2006-10-07 07:29:34 +0000 UTC]
Am I good with more that one acrylic? I suppose that depends upon your definition of "good".
I can palmspin four in each hand, in both directions (current project for me: silky smoothness in motion and transitions :3 ). I only have five 3" acrylics, so I haven't been working 4 in each hand simultaneously. Ummmm "only have five" still sounds a bit excessive... but really 8 is the minimum set that the real palmspinners I know buy.
However, palmspinning isn't my main focus - or at least, for most of the time I've spent contact juggling. At first, I did a lot of the traditional butterfly-transfer style of cj. Later, I transitioned a bit more in to isolationism and illusion. Now when I play around, I tend to do a fusion of the two Lately, I've been working on my bodyrolls (I've been inspired by Ed and Colin, if you've come across their vids through contactjuggling.org or youtube. Oh, and stickman also is great. And Jea9 too).
chestrolls are very fun
Have you started playing with behind-the-neck rolls? They're quite fun, too! *eager to get them solid*
