I mean, I managed to make someone so angry in a videogame that they googled my username in salt
trying to find anything to insult me with, and all it does is make me laugh harder because its some next level rage.

He's just extremely angry he was getting rekt and has no creativity for insults, he literally just gave me free advertising. Case in point you found me.
But oh well, I look forwards to seeing him in battles regularly because he's just made himself a very juicy target for hacker main.

But yea, thanks. Im kinda sad though because a lot of my older drawings haven't aged that well. I've improved significantly in the past few years.

But thank you :3 potatoshop and illustrator have allowed me to try some new stuff and I'm getting better at Photoshop painting. Also drawing my half-cats is good practice with proportions.

It looks overcomplexicated but actually its really simple

I start with a base drawing on paper, then make an illustrator outline, and with the last one I did for Halloween... Magical selection tool to get a basic flat color shaped to the outline, then I use that to select all... That keeps it confined to the outline and I do shadows, then two light fur overlays for detail.

That layers layout was the first time I tried that style and it was a mess. But its part of learning, the Halloween one easily took half the time. But I have an M-60 on the table that's similar in style, its just that I can't use the magical selector to help speed it up if I want any good level of detail.

My biggest thing is that I'm starting to do actual backgrounds XD

Perspective backgrounds have a fairly simple challenge to them; you have to be reaaally shallow with them if that makes any sense.

Well, the trick is to keep them from distracting from your subject. It's just that I rarely ever do backgrounds with my subjects, because I do a lot of technical drawings with illustrations etc. I normally like the blank background because its really hard to go wrong with XD
