As to what moved me to study history. Mostly it was my interest, I always really liked History when I was taking my social science classes growing up. Nowadays, I like to tell people that humans never really learn from their mistakes because they think history isn't important XD But that's just me being morbid to people who want to remain ignorant to what's going on around them. I do believe that knowing history can help us be preventive of similar mistakes happening again :'D

I'm just more curious that what is his story since I really like the design ;v;

His name is Kou and he's a counterpart to another character named Zenko I created for my animation class back in September 2016.
He didn't really have anything concrete about him, but I did some character explorations of the two of them during Inktober 2016, and one of my doodles became the theme for my animation short film for that class. At the moment, Zenko and Kou are still under-development and being worked out :'DcΒ
