You know there was an official poll on the Xbox console version of Monster Hunter for the weapons, basically it rated them as to which weapon was being most used by most players in the game.
Now quite obviously the Hunting Horn was in last place with only 1% of the community using it which I can understand, it's a "support" weapon in which unless you're playing in Multiplayer you're not really doing much but if you're a player who uses a Hunting Horn and often go multiplayer then good on ya.
But that's not what I want to talk about specifically. Now you know me, I shit on the Light Bowgun, granted I can see its use and with a proper build you could do some decent stuff, but you wanna know what it scored on the poll? 12. Above the Hunting Horn and surprisingly the Lance but below the Heavy Bowgun.
Wanna know what the Bow ranked? 2, neck and neck with the Longsword with it being at 1. But again, this is just the Xbox One poll. I'm unsure of the PS4 poll which unfortunately from what I've heard getting that poll is bugged so until it's patched or whatever we won't really know what's the most popular weapon in MHW for PS4 players.
