And it's engulfin me. Sandpaper time! And more! ..now I just donno in which medium I should paint. I probably start with watercolours. I'd love to mess with oilcolours, but no can do in a apartment without proper airing.

I also worked with such solvents for oil, almost rocket fuel! but love to art was stronger My teacher on drawing once 12 hours has worked with an engraving, after has come home, has washed and at it blood has gone from a nose. True artist. I probably woudn't mind either, but I'm not the only one living in this apartment. So to keep the peace I can't do everything for the sake of art. On the summertime I can keep windows and door to the balcony open, but winter time I'll keep on painting with differend mediums.

Hmm.. interesting.. But if I normally use Linseed oil and painting solvent, what will replace the painting solvent? Or do you paint then only with olive oil?

To our students if they are pregnant, recommended to use pure oil. But thus the paint dried up long enough...

That's true. And also what I used ages ago was to paint all the canvas with colourful acrylics first, before starting to really paint with oils.
