Thank you! I'm proud of my fluffy beasts ;w;
It's a neat group/species, did you have any questions about tokota stuff? : O

You go here: tokotas.deviantart.com/ and hit "join group" you don't need to say why, it'll auto accept you.
Then to get a tokota you first need a geno [if you want to design it yourself]. Basically it tells you what markings you're allowed to put on your tokota!
You can get genos from the Adoption Center (where you can get one for free, it's currently closed unfortunately), or from buying them from other players or trading for them. You can browse the Advertisements folder in the group to find various sales/deals.
You can find an official new member's guide here too: tokotas.deviantart.com/journalβ¦
If you're okay with doing art [with a background] for a geno, my best friend is currently trading activity images [a fullbody image of his tokota doing something specific, with a background] for genos, and I can link you to that!

Mehen, I went and joined.Β so I have to wait for a geno? buy with real money is a no go. I'm in college and always on the brock side. trading? what kind of things would they want?
Doing art? as in drawing a Tokotas?Β with back grounds, how detailed do they have to be? I can't do a nice job in 2 weeks as I haveΒ never drawn one before, so would take some time to do. And you get a better picture when done slowly from me.

To get one from the adoption center you'd have to wait for it to open, yes. If you want to try your luck you can always put up a journal and submit it to the group asking if anyone has any genos for free though, sometimes people do! Some people take DA points too, if you have any of those laying around.
It would be a drawing of a tokota yes! The backgrounds need to have enough detail to make it clear it's a background [some grass, the sky, a tree or two etc] but they don't need to be like, super realistic, just need to be able to tell what they are! Unfortunately for the ones my friend has up, he'd need it done in around two weeks, but some people may have longer deadlines. Two Weeks is about the average though, since most people have had people drop or forget deals after that amount of time.

I don't usually back out of a drawing contract . but I do have school, and not much free time at times. I will have some around Nov 20 - 26/2016 as its the Holiday for thanksgiving.
simple backgrounds are Ok with Me. just not too good at them. How do you put up a Journal?

Well if you want to check it out around the holidays I can link you then!
To put up a journal just post one regular [hover over "submit" at the top and hit "write a journal entry"], say in it that you're new to the group and looking for a tokota geno for free as your first one, and then submit it to the group [on the side of the journal, once you've posted there should be a "add to groups" button, click that, type in "tokotas" and submit it to the relevant folder!]
