That's good. Ah I see. School's a bummer. I've been good as well! Doing some drawing, playing games and watching tv shows.  

BTW do you watch this tv series called Fargo? If not, you should start watching it! It's a miniseries consisting of 10 episodes but it is SO GOOD! Lots of violence, gore and dark humour. The main character is played by Martin Freeman. You should check it out!

i still haven't seen the new Thor ;n; I'm looking forward to some Fall break here around Thanksgiving. But other than that, I'm not doing much. I don't know really, my friend got a new drum set (17 piece) and he's leaving it at my house until he can make room for it at his. So that'll be fun, who knows, maybe I'll just have to learn to play some drums. ^^

No worries. I am very patient. I think I get that from my mom. :3

I can't play any instruments very well... but given the time and some sheet music, I can play all extensions of the marimba, my favorite being the vibraphone. I like me some tambourine and shaker every now and then and can pick up on those pretty quick. I play a little piano myself but I'm not very good and am lacking proper education on how to play... but I can play this. ^^ youtu.be/_-s4ldlK8fw Like I said I now have a drum set at my house and I can already play some basic rock stuff, so now I just need to learn fills (the crazy impressive stuff that you use to transition between parts of a song...) I hate bragging... I will have to ask you next. :3 I can also play my hand flute with some amount of accuracy, and I would consider myself a good whistler. On top of all that I enjoy beatboxing and singing. Someday I want to make a little A Capella group with some friends of mine and we would just do some charity singing together or something. ^^ I would have to say I have spread myself too thin to be professional at any (except maybe whistling and singing and beatboxing cause I can practice those anytime I please. ^^)

My family and friend group is a very musical bunch. Yesterday my friend who owns the drum set came and showed me some stuff after playing for about three hours. I sang, he played drums and another of my friends had a guitar. ^^ My dad cannot read sheet music but can play any song on the piano he pleases. My mom can read sheet music and can learn to play any song she pleases. My sister took vocal lessons for about nine years, and I guess both my parents are great singers too. My uncle could be the next winner of American Idle if he wasn't so lazy and my cousin is the lead singer of his band... Music is a big part of my life whether I asked for it or not. Tell you the truth I'd rather just go for a run or draw a little doodle, or even just talk to you and other friends, but with all these really great free teachers to give me tips I can't help but pick up a little on the different instruments.

Enough about me. You said you got a piano? What kind of music is your favorite to play? Have you done any recitals recently?

Ahhh, well then I suppose that's a good thing since I'm getting busy with school again. Psychology is so fuuun~

I see... You're lucky to have all those musically inclined people in your life >,< .. my Dad is a real music lover, but he can't read notes. He can play the guitar and the piano and although his covers aren't the most accurate ones out there, he's not half bad. He can sing too- in fact, the thing I really miss about being a kid is that my Dad used to sing to me when I would sleep on their bed. Mum wasn't much of a musician even though grandad played piano. She's more of a literature and girly girl girl kind of person. Me and my siblings probably learned what we know now all by ourselves. Self-taught and all that. Haha! I'm told I'm a pretty decent singer- but I don't really sing solo. I'm more of a choir kind of person- I like harmonizing and giving twists to songs with my choir-mates And I can understand what you mean by that.. I know how to play the guitar, violin, the piano and a bit of the flute but I don't consider myself any good at all. I can read notes well enough but I can't listen to a song and transpose it into an instrumental even if my life depended on it- I'm still trying to figure out how to do that ;u; ...

Ehhhh- run. More of a homey, do-not-disturb kind of person. Heck, if my parents don't bug me about it I'd rather stay at home all day and read myself to oblivion. I like staying in the house and reading. That's what I really love Reading. I'd read just about anything, even some medical cases and diseases just because. And no- I had piano lessons once but I decided that I was learning faster by myself so I stopped. My last recital was a bit over two years ago And.. my favorite kind to play... well- I like music with haunting melodies. Mellow with a bit of those sad and sentimental vibes, but I also like playing classical songs- the first song I learned was Canon in D~ :'D .. I really like music from games though. Like Touhou's "Bad Apple" or "Deaf to all but the Song" or even the soundtrack from Silent Hill. I don't invest much time on practice though.

Awe that's so cool! Classical music rocks! Sounds like your pretty advanced at piano to be playing Pacabel and the like. Have you ever heard of a movie called My Neighbor Totoro? They have a great score. sheet music What it sounds like This is way too hard for me to play, but I've printed it off and am trying to learn it anyway. (:

Reading eh? Well I'm not much of a reader as of late. I'm jealous of good readers like you for their abilities and talents in the profession. I feel too busy to read. And that makes me sad.

Your family is musical too! Yay! ^-^ It makes life a million times better to harmonize with family. (I can't harmonize cause I don't know how, but when my sister and Dad get singing together, they really can bring some happy good feelings into our home. ^^)

ugh... practice... That's what got me in piano... Don't let it get you, if it's something you enjoy, do it regularly, or you'll forget. Or rather the talent will fade. Wanna practice together? How about you pick a song (any skill level, but preferably close to your ability) and we will both practice and learn it before Christmas. Then we can encourage each other and stuff. (: (It would be really cool if you found a song that is played as a duet, then if we recorded ourselves playing our half and then the other could listen and play their half too. But anything really, just find something you like. ^^)

Oh yeah, you said you sometimes read some medical stuff. What do you plan to do for a living and/or are you thinking of going to college for anything in particular? (:

Haha! Well, not really. It's just that Canon was the song that inspired me to learn music in the first place. I would go to a friends' house and practice there before Dad finally took notice and got me a piano of my own. Btw- it sounds really nice! Looks simple enough- but looks can be very deceiving I'll try learning that piece if I ever find the time eheheeeeee and.. you got it from the Ichigos that's where I usually look for my anime inspired pieces. Ugh- I am an avid reader, but books are EXPENSIVE. There are so many books that I want to read but can't because I haven't the money to buy them yet.. I usually get books as a Christmas present but by the time January, or if I'm abstaining, February rolls around the corner, I'll have finished them already and I have to wait til' July to get another book. Which will last for a few days at most if I read it really, really slowly. Sometimes when I get bored and have nothing to do I'll either pick up a pen/pencil to write or draw, or some nice reading material of some sort.

I don't sing much with my family, only small jamming sessions when my siblings feel like it

Ahh- if you feel like you don't have time for reading that's how I am with finding time for practicing the piano or even my drawing. But I can draw in school though- so it's just finding time for playing that I've got problems with. Oohh~ you sure you're up for it? I've been planning to learn Nocturne by Chopin as a gift to my mother on Christmas, it's her favorite song- but I haven't gotten around to looking for sheets. Maybe you should pick- or... well we can both have the top three songs we like and choose among the six I wouldn't want to force something on you if you don't like it X'D

Hahaha! I'm taking up BS in Psychology now. I just shifted to Psychology during this second semester because during the first sem mum enrolled me as a Pol.Sci. student.. but yeah- I'm taking up Psychology. I think I'll probably get a masters degree and a doctorate degree before I proceed with psychiatry- we'll have to wait and see where it all leads though
